Annabeth then made an eye movement to her friend to get behind the wolves secretly. She took their sight off of him by going over to Kodi. "I think this lead nuisance will do." She prepared to make him scream.

As all the wolves looked at Kodi with anticipation Annabeth's friend went behind them. Kodi gulped and closed his eyes waiting for Annabeth to hurt him.

Annabeth however talked and said, "You can tell my father..." She made an eye movement again for her friend to bash their heads when ready.

Kodi waited to hear what she had to say. Annabeth's friend meanwhile made sure he was in a spot when he could hit them all without needing to move and waste time.

Annabeth laughed, "Tell my father that I will make sure that when I am done with him he will be a skeleton and his bones will be put off somewhere where he will lay forgotten forever so that he goes to the obscurity he belongs!" She then told the wolf to bang their heads.

As soon as the wolves became confused, Annabeth's friend went ahead and gave each of them a bang of his own. Kodi didn't know what to say.

Annabeth however said what needed to be said, "We need to get the heck out of here."

Aleu looked at the passed out wolves, "Are there any wolves left in your pack besides you two and Luo?" she asked, her gaze moving to Annabeth.

Annabeth nodded, "His mate. That is all. My only regret is that I didn't kill Luo when I was close enough to him. Now he will hunt us and there will be no survivors. We cannot dally. Let's go."
