He sighed, "Well we can't get her out of that cave. Looks like it's just the two of us then..." unless they could come up with anybody else who could help them.

Annabeth sighed, "There is a way to get her out maybe. Start screaming like you are in pain." She then started to move back into sight of the cave.

Annabeth's companion had no idea what she was planning, but he did as he was told.

Annabeth soon went to the cave and said to the wolves, "That blathering fool is in agony. That one," she pointed to Aleu, "needs to know what happens to her if she defies me. Let me have her for just a moment to see his agony."

The wolves laughed and threw Aleu out of the cave. She growled at Annabeth and said nothing.

Annabeth just looked at her with cruelty, "And if you have any pups I'll rip them out and leave them on a hill to die." She started walking towards where her friend was.

Aleu followed her so that the guards wouldn't become upset. Once they arrived next to Annabeth's friend and where out of the guards' sight she growled, "You're going to get the beating you deserve now!"

Annabeth laughed, "I probably do deserve it. But let me ask you something. How would you like to be rid of Luo once and for all as in dead?" She paused and said, "I didn't harm my friend and he has offered to help us."

Aleu wasn't sure of whether to believe her. Then again, it was probably a good opertunity to end that mess. There was one thing that was holding her back though, "My brother is barely alive. He might not live because of you."
