The males stared after her for a moment but then turned their attention to watching the cave like they were told.

Suddenly she saw her friend still held prisoner. "You have defied my father you fiend."

Her friend looked away from her. "Defied him? You got me into this mess in the first place. You get me to lie so that he wont know about you and Kodi and then you just hand him in. That's a great way to thank me." his tone was nothing but sarcastic and Annabeth knew he was right.

Annabeth laughed and said, "I wish to talk to you alone about all of your faults."

He frowned, "My faults? I lied to help you so that you two could be together." he had no no idea what had caused her to change like that. "I'm not even allowed to see my mate."

Annabeth sighed and whispered in his ears, "I need your help yet again. I am lying. This whole thing is a lie. I am trying to save them."
