That night, Kopa went to see his parents as they gazed at the stars. "Beautiful night, isn't it?" he began.

Nala's blue eyes glanced behind her as she heard Kopa, "Hello dear." she greeted softly. She licked Kopa's cheek, "You still don't groom yourself throughly. Have to tell Sheba to keep track of you and Bianca." Nala said with a chuckle. She gazed up at the stars and smiled, "Today was a beautiful day and tonight the Kings watch over us as the Pridelands sleep. But how are you doing my son?" Nala asked curiously. The old lioness pulled herself up to her paws and reclined back in the soft grass next to her son.

"I am fine, Mother. I still can't get over the fact that, today, I became a father myself. I mean, I can still remember when I was a cub listening to you and Father's stories about growing up in the jungle after Scar took over the Pridelands," Kopa replied.

Nala smiled at Kopa, "Yes, they were wild and crazy times your father and I had." she said with a smirk. She thought for a moment about how handsome Simba looked when he grew his mane, "The Pridelands will soon be all yours and Shebas. So Bianca can grow and you can show her all the things we taught you. Mainly the Circle of Life." she added. Nala stepped into the soft grass and felt the breeze pass through her fur, "When its your time to be King Kopa, your father and I will be watching down on you." she said softly.

Kopa attempted to repress a tear that was about to fall from his eyes, but with little success. "I know that you'll be among the other great kings and queens, but I don't think I'll ever fully get used to life without you and Father. However, I'll try my best to be as a good a king as Father was," he said.

Nala's blue eyes looked back at Kopa and the old queen smiled, "Your father tried so hard to follow in Mufasa's foot steps." she said gazing up at the moon. The moonlight made her light tan fur glow in the darkness, "Simba needed to make his own mark as a King, as do you Kopa. When this is your kingdom everyone will look to you to make the choices. Your father is a amazing king, but you need to be a great one too." Nala made her way to Kopa and nuzzeled her son's cheek. "You will do fine. Just dont ever forget who you are...and where your place is in the great circle of life." she added. Nala made her way back up towards Pride rock to meet Simba in the lion's den to sleep.

"I will remember those words forever, Mother," Kopa said. For a long moment, he sat watching the stars. He knew that the great kings and queens of the past were looking down on him right now: King Mohatu and Queen Harufu, King Ahadi and Queen Uru, King Mufasa and Queen Sarabi, all of them. "Please, make me the best king I can be," Kopa pleaded to them.

When was the ceromony and he sat with Nala and they talked to Kopa. "Oh, son. I hope you will forgive me one day. I left you alone. I didn't protect you when Zira charged at you. I hope that it won't happen again - fainly with you and Bianca."

He looked when Nala motioned for him but he was already very elderly. Every motions was sore and painful. "I hope you won't be angry, please don't cross with me but I don't believe that I will go with you." He said with a smile. "I want to have a rest a little." He said and stood up slowly. After that he went into the cave and laid down.

The evening has came. Nala and Kopa weren't in the den. "Maybe they are still at the waterhole." He thought himself. Now, there was a chanche for bethink oneself of today. He is a grandfather. This thought make him very happy. "Bianca, what a nice name. And a beautiful little cub" He thought himself. He was proud of her. After meditation he stood up and walked out of the cave. He looked up at the stars and thought of his father. He felt that the wind fluffed his mane. Next time he looked dawn and he saw Nala walking back.

2 days passed since the birth of little Jerba. Vitani's first question to her best friend who was helping her deliever was, "Is it a boy? If not then you can raise it". To much relief of her friend, it was a boy. Vitani looked down on the small cub, "What a fine King he'll be". A messanger for her pride returned with news, "Mistress! Kopa had a daughter!". A wide grin appeared on Vitani's face, "Girls will be girls but boy's will be Kings!". "Now we only have Simba to defeat".
