Kopa approached Zira. "Hello Zira!" He flashed a smile. "Do you need any help?" He asked her noticing her pain. He quickly ran over keeping a safe distance away, in-case she did not need help. Thoughts of child birth ran through his mind. *What will I do?* He asked himself, just then he went closer and put a paw on her forehead to calm her. Rubbing in back and forth motions to calm the Pridelands Queen.

An earth-shattering roar disturbed the two lions as Taka leaped in front of Zira. "Be gone, demon cub!" he thundered, emphasizing his point with a swipe at the boy's head. Although enraged, his ignored Kopa further and instead focused on his mate. Panicking with no idea how to deliver a cub, he considered for one moment sending Kopa to PrideRock to get help. He quickly rid his mind of the foolish thought. Vitani is there, and I will do anything in my power to keep him away! Finally realizing his power as King, he roared loudly as a summoning to his pride, as he had done many times before.

Vitani heard her father roar and she knew it involved her mother, she panicked. She paced back and forth but she thought what her father said to stay on Priderock. She sighed and ran down the rocky path and stopped at the end of it towards the race, "Dad!" she roared. She could see the lionesses around Taka and Zira, she just couldnt see what was happening.
