[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

Nala nuzzeled Simba, "Ill be okay..." she said laying her head back on down on the warm rocky ground. The lioness could feel the pain jolt through her body and she sighed looking at her mother. Her blue eyes teared up and she blinked them back and didnt want anyone to see her cry.

Sarafina laid beside Nala and nuzzeled her daughter trying to sooth her, she examined the claw marks on her neck. "Simba, go get Rafiki. Hopefully he can help her. Hurry shes in alot of pain." Sarafina said.

"I'm on it," Simba said. He then ran off to Rafiki's tree. Thankfully, the mandrill was home right now. Simba explained everything to him and asked for Rafiki's help. The primate agreed and followed the prince. Finally, they arrived at Pride Rock. Simba went to Nala. "Rafiki is here to help you," he told her.

Mufasa ran out of the den to Vitani. "What's wrong! What happened?" He yelled with Sarabi by his side

"Z-Zira told me, that i'm not your true daughter!" She cried. "She said i'm hers and you stole me from her." She cried out, for all lionesses to hear.

Mufasa went bright red in the cheeks. " Well, I walked in on Scar and Zira talking about killing Simba, to take the throne. With banning them to the Elephant Graveyard, you wouldn't be able to live long as a newborn down there. Also, Scar and Zra are truly bad parents. It's okay, because me and Sarabi still love you like we love Simba. Equally." Mufasa paused looking into Vitani eyes. "Right Sarabi?" He asked his mate.

Nala looked up at the mandrill and showed him her wounds and she sighed. "Does the kill still count mom...? Even though I didn't bring it back with me?" she asked Sarafina. Her blue eyes looked sad at the thought she left her kill behind and growled at how stupid she was for forgetting it.


Sarafina stood up and nuzzeled Nala, so Rafiki could get closer. "I don't think the kill matters but your alive. You were very brave today my love, your going to be a great queen." she cooed. Sarafina looked to Shujaa and stepped closer to him, "Follow me, lets try and find Nala's kill." she whispered to her mate and bounded down the rocky path towards the gorge.

Shujaa followed Sarafina. Finally, they arrived in the gorge. After much searching, they finally found the dead wildebeest. "I think this is it. I knew she would do it," Shujaa stated.

Sarafina watched Shujaa pick up the meat and she smiled, "I'm happy she did." Sarafina added. She nuzzeled Shujaa and licked his cheek cutely, her green eyes stared into his. "We did a very good job with Nala." she added. She padded next to Shujaa as they made their way back to Pride Rock.

"Thanks," Shujaa replied as they walked. Now, as he saw Nala's first kill, he was ever more happy to have come back to his family. It was the best time of his life.

Meanwhile, in the den, Simba kept watch over Nala as Rafiki examined her. "I know you will make it," he told her. In his heart, he knew that this was close to the truth. Nala was one of the strongest lionesses he knew. "I'm happy that you made it through your ordeal," he added.

Sarafina dropped Nala's kill in the den by her and Simba, "We brought it back for you love." she said softly. Sarafina laid down at the other side of the den, she wanted to get out of the sun. Sarafina's green eyes looked up at Shujaa, "I sure miss having a cub around..." she spoke softly to her mate. She rested her head on her paws and looked up at Shujaa, waiting for him to respond.

Nala's blue eyes gazed at Simba, "I'll be fine." she whispered. She cuddeled up closely to Simba and rested her head on his paws and purred softly. Her body was tired and she just wanted to relax, her eyelids closed as she fell into a deep sleep.

"I miss Nala's cubhood as well. Are you wanting to have another?" he asked. To him, it sounded like a great idea. It would allow him to atone for the mistake he had made in leaving the first time around, and it would allow him and Sarafina to relive the experience of raising a cub.

Sarafina's green eyes lit up and a smirk came across her face, she tackled Shujaa over. Pinning him to the ground she smiled, "Gotcha...another cub is a marvelous idea." she purred. She Licked Shujaa's cheek and nuzzeled him, she felt good.
