Aleu stood up and looked at Annabeth, "Hey!" she tried to look where Kirby was, "Where's Kirby? I saw him going with you."

Annabeth said, "I have some horrible news Aleu. Kodi and Kirby are hurt in an alley. They told me to go find you so that we could help them."

Aleu immediately grew suspicious, "How did they get hurt?"

Annabeth said, "We ran into Steele..."

Aleu said, "Kodi went on his own."

Annabeth said, "Yes but we met up after a while...I turned my back and after I looked back they were hurt."

Aleu said, "Well could you bring them over here? I'll take them to the vet."

Annabeth said, "Uh it will take at least two of us to get them both over here."

Kodi meanwhile was again conscious. He wanted to warn Aleu and Dusty not to come but he was too weak to even make a sound. Aleu let out a sigh and got up, "Fine."

Annabeth said, "We must hurry. You see Kodi is in really bad shape." Steele and the others hid themselves so when they approached only Kirby and Kodi remained.
