The theory that the world will end because of some celestial alignment (Earth, sun, and galaxy center) is complete bogus.
1. The alignment is a human invention -others don't care what the Earth is alligned with.
2. It happens every 600,00 years or so. Going by that, the Earth ended 108.33 times since the dinosaurs went extinct. The world ended 8333.33 times since it was created. GO FIGURE.

Edit: Actually, I've heard of this Hadron Collider that will create black holes around earth. Scientists believe that they will collapse before anything happens, but there's also a possibility they won't... Damn, are they insane?! If something goes wrong, they're going to destroy the entire planet! >.>

Haha. The world was suppose to end in 2000 too. 2012 is no different. There is no need to be worried.
