And why are you bringing up an old argument? People just got frustrated by that member's repetitive comments, that's all. No need to start accusing everyone of being religious over a book character. (However, there are Kopa fanatics on YouTube.. which is why everyone should stay away from YouTube's fanon videos.)

Before starting a fight, back on topic. I've stopped considering SP and TLK:6NA as canon but I picture Kopa as a stubborn little cub who eventually realises the error of his ways and runs away so he can be replaced by someone more "mature" than him. (Well, I couldn't care less about him anyway.. I'm not into TLK all that much anymore.)

Maybe some of us did hold an unhealthily religious attitude of Kopa. But that doesn't mean you spend all your time and spam the Kopa boards to initiate Kopa's demise So they think the cub's his son. Big deal.

Exactly. So what if we like Kopa. Please respect our opinions. We beleive that there is evidence to support it, so what. Its not the end of the world.

Personally, I don't count the cub at the end of TLK as evidence. The writers of TLK:6NA were just inspired by it to make their fan-fiction, it doesn't mean the creators meant for the cub to be male and be called Kopa (besides, its name was "Fluffy" and in SP it was changed to Kiara). That's my opinion on the matter.

And your opinion may very well be correct. But Kopa is considered canon (well, to me anyways). I just don't see how a cub can go from orange, to tan (or whatever color Kiara is XD)

And to Pixielicious (I'm just responding to what you wrote even if it wasn't directed at me) I don't have a "religious" belief of Kopa. He's just one of my favorite characters and I'd appreciate it if you'd respect that or atleast understand that. People shouldn't spam Kopa pages with their little "facts" about why he 'doesn't exist' or why they hate him. Its not polite, kind, or reasonable.

He's actually in TLK1 too. he's the cub that simba and nala had together.

Normally I am a Kopa supporter, but it's these kind of baseless statements that bring out trolls and extremists. The cub at the end of TLK1 is called "fluffy", and never had any real name. Kopa is that cub in TLK:6NA, and ONLY there.

In SP, that cub is Kiara.

I do think that the cub at the end of TLK 1 was Kopa. But as far as cold, brutal facts go, it's Kiara (in SP) or just plain fluffy. But certainly not Kopa.

But certainly not Kopa." im just confused how you said that you do think its kopa at the end of tlk1 but then said you didnt. and i think this is going to go more along opinions because the only proof i know of so far that really says who the cub is at the end of tlk1 is some special features on tlk special edition where they talk about how originally they wanted simba to have a son and his name was kopa but they switched in the middle of making tlk2 and made it a girl. but other than that, there is nothing in tlk1 to say who it is. this is going to be something that people are just going to have opinions about and it's nothing horrid, and it doesnt change the story. i just say this because never have i heard of any cub named fluffy. even in the books. its just too bland and uncreative of a name to be disney's creation (again, my opinion. not saying its fact or fiction) but, because of the lack of proof as to who it is and/or was, there is no reason to say that it was/is or isnt fluffy. long story short...i consider kopa cannon whether he is or isnt but i have nothing against the possibility that he might not be.

You don't see how a cub can go from orange to tan? It's called using a different colour of paint. The designers didn't think "Oh no, the cubs are two different colours! We can't do that!" They probably didn't care, let alone notice. This is what I mean by people forgetting that Kopa is a fictional character, and that his, and Kiara's design can change whenever the designers what them to. The fact that the cub at the end of TLK and Kiara are different colours simply shows that the designers got lazy and changed it. Not that it was a different cub.

All we know is that Kopa was in TLK6NA. I beleive he's canon. We shouldn't argue over eachother's beleifs - even if we strongly disagree with them.

Agreed. Some people think he isn't cannon since he didn't appear in any movie. Except for the TLK 1 ending.
