1,001 Nights-Dedicated to cheetahstar546

This is a little oneshot based on my new RP "1,001 Nights", which is essentially a parody of "Aladdin" with anthro versions of TLK characters and several differences, such as the Aladdin analogue (Simba) being a prince from the beginning. The RP is in the planning area of the TLK RP section. The current cast is me, cheetahstar and Nitro, and we are looking for more. Eden, a female cheetah who has flirtations with Simba until he gets with Nala, is the character played by cheetahstar. This story is dedicated to her, as she was not only the first one to join the RP, but also made my new sig pic. Thanks! BTW, the princess referred to in this scene is Nala. Anyway, no bashing or flaming of any sort, please!

1,001 Nights


Night had fallen over Agrabah. It was after dinner, and so Simba decided to go and rest a bit in the chamber in which he and his friends usually hung out in. He was the only one in the room at the moment. He sat down and got comfortable on one of the large, soft cushions. As he relaxed, he reflected on many things. First and foremost was the fact that, with a few rubs, he had singlehandedly proven that the old stories of a lamp containing an all-powerful genie were true. For a moment, he looked at the beautiful golden ring the genie had granted him as part of his first wish for something that would likely impress the princess he was going to meet and attempt to court. Just then, Eden entered. For a long moment, Simba looked at the gorgeous cheetah. Ever since their teen years, they had had minor flirtations, even sharing a kiss once or twice. She was also a very good friend of his.

“I thought you might want someone to keep you company while you were here,” the cheetah said as she sat down next to Simba.

“Thanks,” Simba replied.

“Your trip to Fayiz is coming up,” Eden continued.

“Yeah, I’m going to court my potential bride. I hope it works out. It would be great if it did,” Simba answered.

Eden smiled. Although she wished Simba the best and hoped that it went well for him, there was secretly a part that didn’t want the princess to accept Simba’s proposal. However, she quickly snuffed that part out, as it was not her place to think such things.

“Let’s make a deal. If it doesn’t work out with the princess, I’ll declare you my bride,” Simba stated, appealing to an ancient law that stated that a royal heir could marry whomever they deemed worthy.

Simba waited for Eden to answer. When she didn’t, he looked at her and saw that she had a flirtatious gleam in her eyes. It was the same gleam that she took on during their flirtations. Without speaking, Eden moved close and embraced Simba.

“I wish you the best, but if it doesn’t work out between you and the princess, remember that I’m always here for you,” she said.

It was then that Simba and Eden shared one more kiss.

“Consider that a good luck gesture,” Eden told him.

She then playfully pulled Simba’s turban over his eyes. Simba put it back in place. After talking some more, they both went to their own chambers. That night, as she got ready to sleep, Eden imagined Simba’s royal entry parade. She knew it would be grand. She then imagined herself dancing before the parade with all her might.

“I can’t wait,” she said as she fell into a deep sleep.

In his own chambers, Simba allowed himself to think of how courting the princess of Fayiz could possibly go. He also wondered if she was truly as beautiful as his parents had described her as being when they told him of the letters by the sultana of Fayiz.

“I’m prepared for whatever happens,” he said.

Simba then fell into a deep sleep, ready for whatever was to come.

It's really good, but I'm a bit confused about the anthro part of it. So basically, they're lions, who stand on two feet, wear clothes , and have thumbs. Am I missing something here? x.x

What if we just describe him wearing nice robes with no head covering of any sort?
