My NEW Kopa theory! Tell me whatcha think!

I am currently bored of supporting Kopa as cannon, or at least him being the Simba's cub and the cub at the presentation in the first movie. This is what I now think:

Kopa wishes to be the son of Simba and Nala because he greatly respects and loves the king and his legacy, much like a boy who loves baseball and has a favorite star in the game.

I think the parts where he and Simba and Nala are communicating are in his dreams. He tells his friends from he is the king's son and tells tales of his strength and glory. I think his friends are entertained by this and are not really his friends just associates, and others dismiss his wishful thinking and are friends with him because they are acceptive of him. I believe he lives in a pride where his parents don't dedicate as much attention to him, so he feels just in dreaming of the King and Queen as his mother and father. So...

My theory means Kopa is NOT Simba or Nala's son.

My theory indicates that Kopa is in the time before Kiara's birth, but close to it.

Interesting, but here`s my theory: Kopa has nothing to do with the movies! Basically all he is is a published OC.

Yes, i agree with Nitro I don't really support him as canon, but interesting theory though.

I'm a big supporter of Kopa as canon, as I feel the reason he does not appear in SP is because Zira had a hand in his death, which is why she and her supporters were banished.

I don't support him as canon, but I like enjoying the fact that Zira killed him and that's why she and Scar's other loyalties were banished, also why Simba was so overprotective of Kiara.

I think in regards to Kopa the word theory could be replaced by 'explanation' or 'version'. Theory can sort of imply that there is a correct plot and explanation for Kopa when one just doesn't exist. Kopa is a blank canvas upon which fans can paint a multitude of pasts, presents, and futures, but can any of us proclaim our Kopas 'right'? For example, I think your idea is great! It's very creative and it's certainly original. But can anyone ever prove it correct or incorrect? No, because there's no such thing as incorrect or correct when it comes to Kopa. It's up to us!

Lol, you took the words right out of my mouth. There is no right answer, none was ever established by officials. But, my theory casts off Kopa as another cub playing around in the Pridelands that has no importance to the story of SP, TLK, or TLK 1 1/2. This doesn't make it correct, but it doesn't make it open for vicious debates like the ones where he is Simba's son. Man, those got fiery.

Well opposite to everyone here, I think that every theory is corect. Since there is no official explanation, really anything can be right, because thats what people believe.

I would agree with this if it also explained why Kopa looks almost exactly like Simba.
