Vah walked towards Kiara and stood next to her, his confidence was now sky-high, but he knew this was just a one-on-one conversation and he was still very nervous in crowds and tended to shy away from them. That was why he hadn't tried finding a pride to join. He knew he would just go around on his own if he was in a pride. Vah smiled and, again, got very flustered after realising what he had said just a second earlier. "Oh, I didn't mean...well, I did, but-I-you..." Vah stuttered as he watched Kiara run off a few metres ahead, urging him to show her around.

Vah gave in and ran towards Kiara, slowing down just in front of her. "Okay. I suppose we should go to the waterhole first. You seem like you need some water." Vah had noticed that, despite her excitement, she would need a drink of water.

Kiara again giggled as Vah started talking all nervously again. She really had no idea why, but she was finding this lion really cute, especially when he was being so nervous. She nodded her head quickly as he mentioned the waterhole, suddenly remembering just how thirsty she was, "You're right. I'm really thirsty." she said, before smiling and running past him, accidently flicking her tail at his face. She looked around at him, "Which way is it?" she asked, again smiling at him.

Vah stopped in front of Kiara and turned to look at her, now smiling. She was clearly quite excited that she would be able to explore the place with Vah. She was clearly quite an out-going, happy-go-lucky type of lioness, and Vah kind of liked the way Kiara was so eager to find out more about the place he lived in. Vah watched Kiara run past him again and then felt her tail swipe over his muzzle. His heart skipped a beat. Was it intentional? Or accidental? Either way, Vah decided to ignore it. For now.

Vah then ran up to Kiara and started walking next to her. They were actually going the right way to the waterhole. "Well, it's not that far from here. We should be there in a minute." Vah told Kiara, looking straight into her eyes all the while. He didn't care that he didn't know why. He thought Kiara's eyes were absolutely stunning. They had a sparkle that he couldn't even begin to describe...

Vah stopped his train of thought and noticed just how much he had admired her. He continued walking, but he was now looking in front of him, but wasn't really paying much attention to where he was going. Butterflies seemed to have invaded his stomach and he felt very light and dreamy. Something he had never felt since, well, ever. Vah mentally shook his head. He couldn't be feeling that way about her? Could he?

Kiara just walked silently next to Vah. She noticed he was looking right in her eyes, and instead of finding really stressing, shot him a smile and then looked at where they were walking. For some reason she suddenly felt like she needed to see those eyes of his again, but it was when she looked around that Vah had forced himself to snap out of his trance and look at where he was walking. She shrugged and just continued walking untill finally catching sight of the waterhole. It was then when she went ahead of Vah so that she could finally fill her thirst. After drinking for what seemed to her like a really long time, she pulled her head back up from the water's surface and smiled at Vah once more.

Vah only noticed they were at the waterhole when he almost tripped up on a small rock protruding out from the ground. This broke him out of his thoughts and he turned to see Kiara taking a long drink from the waterhole. It looked like she hadn't had a drink in days and that she could drink every single drop of water from the watering hole. Well, maybe that was exaggerating it a little, but oh well.

Vah smiled back at Kiara in response to her own and walked next to her, bending down to lap up the water with his tongue. He felt the crisp, refreshing water run down his throat and was immediately glad they came here first, for both of their sakes. Vah crouched down and took another drink of water before turning to Kiara. "So...anything you want to know about me, inparticular?" Vah asked her. He felt she deserved to know something about him. Apart from the fact he was a rogue.

As Vah drank, Kiara found herself holding back from doing something childish like pushing him inside. However before she had enough time to decide whether she should, Vah was already done drinking. She smiled at him once more before thinking about his question, and whether there was anything she should know about him, but she couldn't come up with anything of much importance. "I can't think of anything." she said, before holding back a sly grin, "Hey, what this?" she pointed to the absolute nothing that was behind Vah, and once he had his back turned she pushed him into the water. She laughed as she noticed the way he looked with his mane all wet before taking a deep breath and diving inside as well.

Vah continued to look at Kiara, patiently waiting for an answer. When he got one, he was sort of glad that she didn't want to know anything about him. He would'v answered anyway, but...Vah was then distracted by something behind him, or at least, Kiara told him it was behind him. As he turned his head around, he scanned the surrounding area, but couldn't fnd anything. Vah started to turn back around, but before he did, he felt himself lose his balance and fall into the cold water.

As soon as he hit the water, Vah closed his eyed and held his breath just before he went underneath the water. When he rose again, Vah immediately looked over to Kiara. "Hey! Th-That's not fair!" he complained, but he didn't get an answer because, surprisingly, Kiara jumped in with him. Vah got splashed with water as she jumped in and he immediately began swimming towards Kiara, a slyly smiling himself, now. Once he reached her, Vah wrapped his forelegs around her, effectively tackling her underwater, before letting her back up a few seconds later, his forelegs still wrapped around her. "Well, you got me there...sneaky..." Vah grinned playfully at Kiara.

Kiara couldn't stop herself from laughing as Vah started complaining. She suddenly began worrying that she might have got the lion upset, but that worry was soon gone as she noticed him smiling slyly while swimming closer to her. She soon however realised that the sly look on his face meant that he was going to somehow get back at her for pushing him inside. By the time she realised that, Vah's forelegs were already wrapped around her. After he allowed her to resurface, Kiara started laughing again, "That was fun." she said, still not noticing that he still had his forelegs wrapped around her.

She was sure that she could get used to having Vah around, and from what she understood, it seemed like Vah wouldn't mind having her around either. She only then noticed that his forepaws were still around her. She looked at her shoulder where one of his forelegs lay and then back at him before a blush climbed onto her cheeks. Part of her told her to pull away, but another one refused to let her so. She just remained in the lion's arms and stared into his eyes, her cheeks still carrying a noticable blush.

Vah didn't let his smile fade, and really, there was no reason not to be smiling around this beautiful lioness. Well, that was what Vah thought, anyway. Kiara had started bringing out the more playful and less serious side of Vah, which was something he never thought he'd see again, and boy, did it feel good! Vah wished he had met Kiara as a cub. She would've made his life so much more fun.

Vah looked into Kiara's eyes for a few more seconds. His mind going blank to everything else around him as he stared at her. It was only when he noticed Kiara blushing that snapped him out of his admiration, as Vah himself was feeling a little flustered. So...er...more showing around?" Vah asked her, pulling away from Kiara as he glanced towards the shore. It wasn't that Vah wanted to end their moment, but he just felt very embarrassed about the whole thing. Much like Kiara, really.

Kiara continued to stare into Vah's eyes. They just seemed so kind and understanding that she didn't want to break the eye contact. As much as she wanted that moment to last for eternity, Vah eventually pulled away from her and looked at the direction of the shore. "Uh... sure..." this time she found herself unable to smile and again looked away from him as another furious blush showed up. She then slowly swam into and shook as much water off of herself as she could. She looked at Vah but again looked away blushing once he looked back at her. "So... Where to next?"
