Kara blinked a few times with confusion and a surprised face, trying to contemplate what she was just asked. Her? She never once thought that anyone would ask her out. Never once dreamed of it. "Uh..." She said, still trying to get her thoughts together. Her mind at that moment was a maze she could barely navigate. "I would love to go on a date with you, Kayan. I just have one question though... Why me? Chatty and a babysitter. I'm more of a servant then part of a group. The girl who's in the way." She swallowed hard and looked back at the falls. "It's just I've never been asked before. I've never thought of myself as someone that would be asked out." She then realized that her words might make him feel like she was somehow silently rejecting him in a way. "Don't get me wrong, I do want to go out with you, I really do!" She smiled. "It's just something that I'm not used to, that's all. So when shall we have this date?"

[Daenerys]

Amani flattened her ears and growled when she heard this. "Grrrr......she shouldn't." Amani watched the two for a few moments and and then slinked off back to her den. She started pacing. "Let's see, how can I get these two to break up?" but then she stopped and slowly lifted her head up. "I know!" She ran off to a secret den of hers.

[Arani]

OCC: 0.o breaking up the lovers of the RP? cruel much! JK lol.

[Daenerys]

OCC: Amani IS supposed to TRY to do this for the WAR part in war cheetahs ya know. she fails though, like she always does

OCC: Lol ik I was just joking. Just make sure it waits until AFTER their date so that they can fall in love or something before she attacks them lol. MAybe you could have her stalk them? Rofl there's an RP image.

OCC: Yeah, that's what I had in mind, but I have a twist to it that I'll save for later.

Kayan's ears flattened against his head at first, because it seemed like she was trying to say no without hurting his feelings. He answered her anyways, "Because, I really like you... You're beautiful, and it really doesn't matter to me that you babysit for Amani from time to time... You're nice and your also beautiful on the inside..." he spoke to her with complete honesty, and it didn't feel like he could have ever come up with a better way to say it. As she asked him when they should go, Kayan smiled at the indirect yes. "Well, I was thinking we could maybe go look at the stars or something. Or..." he looked around them, "Actually this place is really nice..." he said and smiled at her.

Kara kept her eyes locked on his face, her surprise growing more and more. "Oh." Her heat rate suddenly increased as she looked down, heat building in her cheeks. "I really like you, too. You nice and easy to talk to. Now cubs on the other hand are a much different story." She smiled at him. "I bet you could catch anyone's heart when you wanted too." When he suggested places for their date, she had the perfect idea. "Tell you what. We'll stay here until sunset and see the rainbows, and then we'll go star gazing. Deal?"

Kayan again found himself unable to do nothing but listen when she told him that she liked him too, and he felt the greatest relief after fearing that she would say no. He found his cheeks becoming red as she said that he could catch anyone's heart if he wanted to, "Oh... thank you." he said with a smile, before listening to her idea. "Sounds great." he said with yet another charming smile. However he then began feeling the akwardness of the situation, "So uh, how does this go? I've never gone out with anyone before..." he admitted, his ears flattening against his head. Was he supposed to put his arm around or something of that sort? He really didn't know.

[Arani]

"Truthfully I've never been on a date either." Kara admitted. "But I think we should just... hang out. Talk, you know? I mean we've already done a lot of that, but still. And have a good time." She chuckled. "I have to admit that I feel very... I dunno, nervous for some reason. And I don't say that very often." She smiled away her sudden embarrassment. "Never really gotten close to anyone besides my dad, much less gone on a date with someone." Her cheeks were still red, but she didn't care. All she could think about was how this night was going to end and what it would mean for them. She looked up at the sky. The sun was already starting to set. "My my, we have been here a while, haven't we. Sun's going down. How time flies when you talk about your feelings!"
