The Lion king... I think it's about Simba because it's about him taking his one true place as The Lion King. So ya I think it's Simba. ^^

I personally think the title of "The Lion King" is just referring to the fact that the movie is based primarily on more than one character trying to be King. It's not based necessarily on one character because through out the whole movie there are three different kings.

i mean....thats what i think when i try really hard :?

You win my personal logic award.

It's rather obvious that the title isn't reffering to just one character, since the "lion king" changes almost every new generation in the TLK universe.

While that is technically true, The Lion King is Simba's story. Not Mufasa's, not someone else's. Even Simba's pride is still mostly Simba's story. About him trying to live up to Mufasa's wisdom. 1.5 is Timon and Pumbaa, but it doesn't really count.

So while the Lion King changes each generation, as far as the movies are concerned (and therefore most of the audience), the Lion King refers to Simba.

Why do you believe that? Sure, he was probably the most loved king of all time, and he was very brave in saving Simba, but as Simba grew older, he was even braver. His deeds (saving the Pridelands, welcoming the Outlanders into the pride and eliminating another enemy, killing Zira, etc.) far surpass even his father's. Now don't get me wrong, Mufasa is my favorite character and is Simba's hero, but Simba is everyone else's hero.
