Kodi looked back after a few seconds of them running Kodi looked backwards. The view behind them was clear for a few seconds before he could see some of the bushes move slightly. He again looked forward so that he could focus on running, "Keep running!"

Kirby said, "Oh okay." Suddenly he again tripped and the rustling bushes went closer to Kirby.

Steele laughed, "Again thank you my spotless hounds! You are so perfect!"

Kodi sighed, 'Oh Kirby!' he quickly helped him up, "How come you trip now? Why don't you trip during mail runs?"

The dogs said, "Nobody's perfect. A wolf-dog is better than you." no one in the town considered being part wolf and part dog bad anymore, but they figured that they could annoy Steele back and hopefully get him to leave.

Kirby said nothing and kept running. "Are they still after us?!"

Steele said, "Then you should welcome the wolves with open arms and they will eat you alive!"

Kodi didn't even look backwards knowing that he would have to slow down when doing so, "Make an educated guess!"

Steele said, "Wolf-dogs are like wolves."

Kirby just nodded and kept running. "Where are we going?"

The dogs simply said, "No they are not."

Kodi said, "Into town." he kept running.

Steele said, "Maybe the wolves are right about your small brains."

Kirby said, "We should go to the barn."

The dogs laughed, "That inclues your smaller brain as well." (( You're going to make those pups really naughty aren't you? =o ))

Kodi said, "I really don't care as long as it's safe."

Kirby nodded and ran faster, "Then come on."

Steele laughed and said, "See ya." He closed the window and saw Kirby deliver Kodi. "Oh good job Kirby you have done well."
