Kodi let out a yawn. It was the first time he stayed up an entire night, "I'm here." When Kirby woke up Aleu was looking down at him with an upset, yet worried expression, "Are you okay?"

Kirby got nervous when he saw that upset expression. "Why me? I mean of course." Annabeth smiled, "Go ahead and go to sleep Kodi. I'll be fine."

Aleu nuzzled him, "You had me worried yesterday..." Kodi just shook his head and continued to sit there.

Kirby said, "No Aleu don't even look at me!" Annabeth made a whine to see if it was okay for her to walk around.

Aleu looked confused, "What? Why?" The vet shook his head. Surprisingly he didn't seem tired at all. He brought out a stethoscope and placed it against her belly.

Annabeth started to become nervous. "Kodi he keeps checking my belly. That is not a good sign!" Kirby shook his head, "Because Aleu...because I betrayed Kodi. I told them everything!"

Kodi said, "You just try to remain calm... Being stressed wont help you...." he didn't let it show but he was just as nervous as she was. Aleu looked shocked, "You did what?!"

Kirby sighed and said, "They kept torturing me and I wanted the pain to stop. I was a coward. I told them where she was, at the vet." Annabeth laughed, "Calm. How can I be calm?!"

Aleu just said, "How could you?!" she then turned away from him and ran towards the pet clinic. She wasn't going to tell Kodi. If Kodi was to find out, it was Kirby who would have to tell him. Either way, she didn't feel like thinking about anything related to him at the moment. Kodi sighed, "I'm sorry."
