Oh, lol.

In my opinion: Timon and Pumbaa are lazy, gross, and mean - Girls don't like that (as far as I know).
I am glad they didn't do anything with Timon and Pumbaa's love life. The movie is titled "The Lion King" not "Timon and Pumbaa find girlfriends", thank god.
:teehee:

I`m a little surprised as well.. You`d think that when they decided to make a whole movie about Timon and Pumbaa, the writers would make them get girlfriends/mates. But seeing as they decided to turn the "Timon and Pumbaa movie" into a parody of TLK, they couldn`t fit girlfriends/mates in there because neither of them had any in the original movie.

In relation to wether Timon and/or Pumbaa will ever get girlfriends: I think they will at some point. I doubt they`re satisfied with living alone for the rest of their lives.. although they must both be getting on in years now.

Eh, maybe they would at somepoint. We might never know unless they make a sequal to TLK1.5 about Timon and Pumbaa.(god I hope not)

If they were to make another sequel to Lion King, I don't think Timon and Pumbaa getting love interests, would be high priority for the creators (of the next movie), and I honestly hope Timon and Pumbaa are not the focus of the next movie. I have nothing against them, but I think if they wanted to tell the story of the Lion King from another character's viewpoint I think Nala would have made for a much more interesting story. Another thing they could have done with Lion King 1 1/2 would have been to actually tell the story of what happened between Lion King 1 and Lion King 2. I don't hate Lion King 1 1/2 it's just that if this turns out to be the last Lion King movie I am slightly disappointed because that is not how I wanted to say good bye to my favorite movie franchise.

^ AGREED. But kiddies love the comedic aspects of film. I remember when I was little the only thing from the Lion King that really stuck with me was Hakuna Matata, which I was cheerily singing every minute :P Make it funny, kids will eat it up. I was laughing uncontrollably when I watched this when I was younger.
