Isn't strange how Timon and Pumbaa, the movie's comic relief, got a whole TV show for themselves? I would have understood a TLK show (a bit like the comics, but animated), but not T&B. A large reason why I didn't like 2 and 1.5 was because the duo got much bigger roles, but were still comic relief, giving the movies a less serious feel to them.

I think that the TV Show was a bit of a rip-off, since all it was was Timon and Pumbaa and then nothing else. It retained very little from the actual Lion King, and it was basically just copying the characters and putting them in a human based enviroment. I would have preferred a show about Simba and Nala's adventures as a cub, or Simba in the jungle or trying to perform his kingly duties without the full teaching of his father, or even Kiara or Kovu/Vitani/Nuka's mishaps around Pride Rock/Outlands.
