Other: She originated in one of my early drafts of "Out of the Pridelands" as a replacement for Timon. From a young age, she couldn't wait for the day she could leave the mob and make her own life. However, she also tends to have brief bouts of loneliness, so she seeks out anyone who is willing to keep her company.

Yeah, she would've been a friend for Simba and Nala during the time that they were in the jungle. However, she didn't make it in since I wanted that time to center mostly on Simba's training and on his and Nala's relationship.
