I wouldn't be surprised if there was a hurricane there today... Sad because I'm not even joking. Seriously, it's like the apocalypse there. Poor people. :c

I've heard that a nuclear bomb went off or something like that.. Is it true?

Nuclear Bomb? No, that didn't happen. I think you're thinking about Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Anyway, there's a threat of a nuclear meltdown in the Fukushima nuclear power plant. Two nuclear reactors have already exploded and are leaking radiation. There's now a threat of a third reactor exploding...

OMG, it seen that this earthquake was most destructive, and warnings of a nuclear disaster just add more "salt to the wound"

It adds more than salt to the wound. It adds a whole lot of crap that Japan doesn't deserve.

The nuclear disaster is starting to overshadow both the earthquake and tsunami in local an international news. It's potentially scary, but honestly the real damage is the billions of dollars in cities washed out to sea and thousands of lives lost when the people got swept away with them. A little radiation isn't on the same scale, as everything points to Japan being able to prevent a full-blown nuclear meltdown.

It's going to takes years and years for Japan to recover from this and even longer for them to recover from the uncanny financial blow they've just been dealt. This last week for Japan will, unfortunately, live long in the memories of everybody.

Apparantly, the death toll could rise to 13,000...I just heard this literally a minute ago on the news. Absolutely catastrophic...now they're saying that the nuclear reactor situation is worsening...I have no words to describe this...

The only possible thing remotely big enough to decribe this is how much I, and we, feel for these people... and even that I cant put into words at all.

Yeah I kind of have my doubts to the complete nuclear meltdown thing, but then again, no one expected the volcano either :/...

Well, when it rains it pours, as they say...
