Hmm, I personally doubt it. I think he's been "evil" for along time, but hey, its a disney movie. xDD who knows.

We really don't know for sure. But there are plenty of great thinkers on this Forum that are reasonable. Perhaps we should trust the poll for this topic: Nuka would have been good.
when i read the topic i had this funny scene in my head (itd only work if zira didnt fall of the cliff, and nika not dying)
this is the scene i thought of
Zira-Vitani now
Vitani- No mother. Kiara's right....Enough
Zira- If you will not fight you will die as well.
Nuka- I'm with Vitani. *Nuka walks toward Vitani*
Zira- *growls*
Nuka- If thats alright with you mother *Nuka walks towards Zira*
*the outlanders go towards Vitani to join the pridelanders*
Nuka- *starts to follow then stops and is in the middle* Uh mother. no vitani no mother no vitani wait i know (nuka thinking to himself this oughta make mother notice me) Im with mother!

lol its a pretty stupid idea but oh well lol
I like the sound of this scene XD However, I doubt that <Vitani> would have turned good without Nuka's death to shake her up and have her reevaluate her life. I don't think they could have both made it to the good side together =3

Definitely. After Nuka died, Vitani became really conflicted and was able to be open to the idea of switching sides. Nuka's death was not in vain!

Perhaps. Now that I think about it, Nuka would probably have gone with Zira. (wow, I change my mind alot X3)

I think he would have. Had he been let's say just injured and off screen until after the fight and Zira's death, I could see him possibly turning good. I think he was so eager to please that he would have "adopted" a new parental figure to look up to. Maybe Simba, maybe Vitani....but someone. It was SO much a part of who he was, that I don't think he'd have it in him to suddenly stand up on his own and begin to live in such a way that was only pleasing to him. Nuka was more of a big dope than evil to begin with anyway. If Vitani could change to good, I'd bet that Nuka could do it too.

I'm afraid poor Nuka was beyond redemption, I think if he had been alive when Zira died it would have only intensified his hatred of Simba and Kovu as well.
On a side note I never realized that Nuka's death may have been a contributing factor in Vitani's turning good. That is an amazingly good point and gives Nuka's death a depth and meaning I had never considered before.

I chose 'other' because this is a tricky one, giving it thought, to me Nuka wasn't evil, he did what he did to please his mother whether it be good or bad. But I think if he had lived in the movie for this scene I don't think he'd have switched sides after Kiara's speech or even when his sister and the outlanders changed sides, I think we would have been left with Zira standing with Nuka by her side and Nuka would have took another shot at Simba to please his mother (Kiara and Zira's river scene would be changed to Simba and Nuku, which would lead to Nuka's death.)

Maybe I should have picked 'no' I didn't choose no just because I feel that Nuka wasn't evil, he was just devoted to his mother, if Zira had chose to change and be good, Nuka would have too, if Zira chose to stay bad then I believe Nuka was devoted enough to stay by her side.

I don't think Nuka would have changed. He wasn't evil, but he was very loyal to Zira and just wanted her attention. Maybe after Kovu and Vitani joined the Pridelanders, Nuka would see it as his chance to be the only one still true to his mother and his chance to finally win her attention. He did spend all his life following her and listening to her every command, so I can see him staying on the "evil" side if he was still alive.
