The dog just nodded. "We'll keep an eye on her." it was the dog Steele confronted a few days ago, the one who's father was one of the sled dogs who got lost. Now that he had a chance to somehow pay Balto back for helping his father get back he was going to do it.

Kirby nodded, "Thank you. And if she tries to escape by trying to kill you just knock her out okay, just not too hard please." He then looked back at Kodi, "So now that the females are okay-ish what about us? What is the plan?" Steele meanwhile yelled to Luo, "Hey Luo the sun is set!"

Kodi simply said, "There is no plan." Luo sighed and yelled back, "I'm old but I'm not blind!" he had already gathered wolves for the task. The vet meanwhile got up and headed over to the door which was still open. He closed it and locked it along with all the windows like he did every night. After that he went over to Annabeth and sat down next to her to see her reaction.

Steele said, "You just plan to charge into the forest and ships Luo?" He laughed. "His friends have already told them so I have no doubt they went to the only safe place Luo, the village." Kirby just sighed, "Well I mean where are we sleeping for the night Kodi?"

Luo said, "So? We'll search the village." Kodi said, "I'll go back to my owner. I suggest you do the same."

Kirby said, "I'll stay outside a while Kodi okay?" Steele said, "And humans will tolerate a whole pack of wolves in their town?" He laughed.

Kodi frowned, "No Kirby, it's late. They could be here any minute." Luo just rolled his eyes and said nothing. He didn't really care about the humans.

Steele said, "Might I suggest that I lead you into the town and for the wolves to remain single file so they will be harder to see?" Kirby sighed, "Oh don't worry about me."

Luo again rolled his eyes, "Whatever makes your day." Kodi's frown remained, "I can see it already. You stay out, they catch you, and you die. What reason do you have for staying in the middle of the street anyways?"

Kirby said, "I don't plan on staying in the middle of the street Kodi thank you. Don't worry I won't die." Steele said, "Fine go in there. I'll stay here."
