Kayan immediately felt bad about posing that question. Even though it wasn't his fault and that he didn't know, he still felt bad with himself. "I'm really sorry... I had no idea..." he said with a sigh after the cubs left towards the tree. He felt even worse about it when he remembered how sad he was when his mother passed, and he deeply regretted asking that question. He managed to smile again once he saw Kara's smile, feeling somewhat cheered up. "So, uh... this seems like a nice place..."

[Arani]

Kara nodded at his apology, and then smiled once again. "Ya, it is." Kara then laughed at her words. "Well, nice as in beautiful I suppose, but as for how nice the inhabitants are, I am by far the nicest, not meaning to brag or anything. Amani is nice when she's in a good mood, and that is kinda rare at the moment. Amani's father is also very nice when he wants to be, but you know how the old folk get sometimes. Grumpy and tired." She looked around, then back to Kayan. "If you'd like to rest for a day or two, there's a cave off to the east a little ways. No one uses it except for me when I need a quiet spot to think. But I can find a temporary spot so that you can rest."

Kayan was about to say a 'No, I don't' to her statement about old folks, since she was the first cheetah he had ever met besides his own mother. 'Well, if Amani's really like that... looks like I wont be staying with these guys...' suddenly his heart lifted as she mentioned the cave in the east. Maybe he still had a chance to get to know Kara better. "That sounds great, thanks." he went ahead and asked, "Say, where's the waterhole in this place?" he laughed, "I haven't clean myself in weeks." he had this sort of a sense of humor that made him find almost anything funny, unless it was something serious of course.

[Daenerys]

OCC: I wonder when Arani will be back online.

OOC: I don't know. I've got to hit the sack anyways. Maybe in a few more posts i'll make Kayan 'dissapear' untill the next morning (morning in RP time) so that you can come in too. then in the morning Amani again leaves Kara with the cubs or whatever...

[Daenerys]

OCC: Sounds good. Good night TW.

[Arani]

OCC: Sorry, I'm at a family gathering. Had a spare minute so thought I would reply real fast. I wont be able to come on for the rest of the night so I'll have Kara leave and let Kayan 'wash up' lol.

Kara laughed. "Turn to your right and go strait, you'll stumble upon it eventually." She glanced at the cubs to make sure they were okay. "I've got to get these two in for their nap. I guess I'll see you later." She gave Kayan one last smile before turning towards the cubs. "Come on kids, lets go. Nap time."

"Aw man!" They both said, but obayed without question. The female climbed down the tree with ease, but the male had a more difficult time. Kara offered him a hand, but he shook his head. "I can do it." He said. He climbed down a little more, then jumped to the ground. Kara looked back at Kayan. "I might be able to come and talk more later tonight. We'll see when Amani gets back in. Bye." She then walked away, the cubs closely following on her heels.

[Daenerys]

OCC: Okay, TW goes next. Referring to what Kara said "tonight" Hee hee! This is fun!

Meanwhile, Amani was on her way home. She was at a slow walk. She was tired after being yelled at by Simba. She was falsely accused of. She growled to herself. "Those stupid lions....who needs them anyway?.......Hmph!" She was wondering what Kara had been doing. "She better not be getting into any trouble.....especially with that rogue that's been wandering around....I forgot to tell her about him." Amani then froze dead in her tracks. "Oh no. Him. Her. Alone. Oh she better not!!" She took off running home.

OOC: I'm making stuff happen a little fast now but only for Kayan. Don't pay attention to that

Kayan smiled at Kara, "Yeah, uh... see you later..." as she left, the male let out a long sigh, but then headed off towards the waterhole. Hopefully he would see her again sometime soon. At some point he came across the waterhole, and after filling in for his thirst finally washed himself a little he headed towards the east.

After another few minutes he came across the cave Kara spoke to him about, 'Yeah... This will do...' once he got inside he laid down, intending to get some rest. However as much as he tried he just couldn't lie still. He couldn't stop thinking about Kara, not even for a second. He sighed and just hoped he could see her again soon.

OOC: Lol. "Oh no. Him. Her. Alone. Oh she better not!" Amani really thinks that she can decide about anything in Kara's life doesn't she? =o

[Daenerys]

OCC: Well I described Amani as "Kara's friend and foe". Amani has a habit to be VERY bossy and controlling Kara's life.

As Amani was coming home, she noticed something..... different..... something she just couldn't put her paw on......something......something..... "Oh whatever!" she said to herself. She skidded to a walk. "Geez, I skid a lot." she said to herself. She approached her den which was now in sight. "Kara!! I'm home!!" she ran into the den to find the cubs sleeping, but Kara nowhere in sight. "Kara? Kara! Where are you?" she looked around her den to make sure she wasn't hiding. She still couldn't find her. "Fine Kara! Meet me here tomorrow!"
