Where Kopa went wrong... [ P r i v a t e ]

The lioness giggled as Simba proclaimed his love for her. Ever since a cub, she had always been shy of Simba's flirting and love, and it always made her blush. This time was no different as her dimpled cheeks faded a soft pink color. Her curved tail flicked around her mate's as she lovingly touched his nose with hers.

"I love you, too," Nala whispered fervently as she gently licked his cheek with her smooth, wet tongue.

Nala giggled again as Simba smirked at her. "I think we should go back to the den before someone kidnaps Kopa," she laughed as she slyly grinned at her mate.

[Latari]

"Yeah we should its late too," he said licking her cheek once more and got up and began to walk towards home. He brushed her side as they walked. "wonder what the chip off the ol block is doing any way." Then he smirked again at her then winked. "hopefully he wont be just like me and get into to trouble," he worried. Then thought about how he would protect his pride and espicially his curious son.

Rising to her paws, Nala padded alongside Simba and smiled at his little joke.

"Who knows what cubs are up to these days?" Her expression changed to concern as Simba solemnly said he didn't want Kopa to be exactly like him. With a now stern but caring look smudged across her face, she reprimended her mate, "Simba, don't you worry too much about Kopa. He may be curious and playful, but he isn't stupid. I'm sure he knows what to do if danger befalls him." She nudged him softly as they walked to Pride Rock.

When they arrived, Nala stepped up the tremendous rocks to the peak and turned toward the cave where Kopa was supposed to be. For the whole time they arrived, she had been holding her breath, hoping desperately that Kopa hadn't wandered from the den. She let out her air as she saw her son snuggled comfortably in a corner of the den. The loving mother smiled and licked Kopa's cheek.

[Latari]

Simba nudged the cub. "Hey son time to wake up," he sayed yawning. They had stayed up all night there and now it was morning. "Its time to get up and you can go play, but be carefull," he said looking at his son bouncing out then began to dash down the pride rock to wherever. "They have so much energy these days," he said yawning again.

Nuka had woken up early, thinking as usually then he went and saw that Vitani was sleeping and quietly nudged her awake and flicked his tail to outside the den and got Kovu and done the same thing. When they were all outside he said, "You ready to go play with Kopa!" Then he looked and searched there faces and laughed at there exitment. "well lets go," he said showing them the secret way out without being soon.

Kopa was awakened by the soft nudge by his father. Morning already? He thought, surprised that the time had flew by so quickly. The young cub yawned openly, exposing his pink, lolling tongue. His small claws extended forward as he stretched his limbs tiredly. Nala licked her son on the cheek again and pushed him gently with her soft nose.

"Go run and play, Kopa. You need some exercise." She smiled as Simba said practicaly the same thing.

With excitement bursting through his cub body, Kopa scampered off over the edge of Pride Rock and walked through the lush, green grass. With a small on his enlightened face, he continued strolling until he would hopefully find his newfound friends and have a chance to play with them.

Meanwhile, his mother wearily lay her body down on the cool, hard, rock floor of the den. She yawned as her son did, but instead of hoping for wakefulness, she wanted to sleep desperately.

"Simba, you need to get some rest," Nala told her mate. "We stayed all night and we still have a big day today."

The warm sun rose and shone on Vitani's bare face. Her eyelids fluttered open suddenly and her ears pricked upwards. Heart pounding, she realized what this day was... Their playdate with Kopa! She sprung into the air with a wild leap and landed on Kovu saying that they should "hurry before he changes his mind". Realizing Nuka was already awake, she didn't bother to tell him the great news. He obviously knew ahead of time. Vitani smiled happily as they strode out into the glowing sunlight and coudn't help but be frisky.

"yeah you're right, and im tired anyway. Very," he said yawning very loudly and then he lay down beside his mate and drifted off to sleep with her sweet scent in his nose.

Nuka winced at the sun as sunlight as it shone in his eyes, "What are you so happy about princess," he said playfuly pushing her and walking in front of her in the lead towards the pay area where we met Kopa. "Oh I think I know why." The I bend down and whisper something into Kovu's ear, then Kovu and I bust out laughing rolling on the ground.

"Do you like him, Kovu squeaked out from laughter smirking at her then began laughing again. Nuka was still rolling around laughing crazily. "Are you gonna blush princess."

Nala's mouth spread into a warm smile and slowly lay herself down beside her already sleeping mate. With a small yawn, she slowly drifted into a deep slumber,

Vitani cowered under Nuka as he asked her the question which she knew was bound to come up.

"Well," she hesitated slowly before finally answering in a lighter tone, "he's a lot of fun to play with! Yeah, a lot of fun!"

Kovu and Nuka's ridicule were quite embaressing as they rolled around the ground laughing hysterically. When Kovu teasingly asked her if she liked Kopa, she blushed, despite her wishing she wouldn't.

"Come on, guys, let's just go," the blushing cub nudged her siblings before she started walking off. The soft plumes of pink still sprung across her cheeks as they neared the Pride Lands. With a rush of excitement, she rushed to Kopa as he came within sight. Without thinking twice, Vitani licked Kopa's face. She later regreted this, but for now she was captured in utter bliss.

"Uh, thanks for the welcome," Kopa nervously stated, rubbing off the little trail of saliva the lick left. "So, what shall we do today?" he asked as he gazed at the other cubs eagerly.

When Nuka and Kovu saw their sisters welcome they looked at each other and snickered at the sight. "Awwwwh!," Kovu mewed teasingly, then he and Nuka laughed some more. "Hmm, I guess we could toss this ball of moss for awhile," Nuka suggested trying not to laugh any loonger. "Wait hold on Ill be right back." Nuka dashed of with the moss ball in his mouth, it was dry and made his tongue itchy. He stopped at the small stream he saw as the came, he dipped it in a couple times. It got heavier as it soaked in the water. He put it back in his mouth he tried not to squeeze the water as he came back to the other "Catch!," he said tossing it in the air sending drolets of water wildly and licked the droplets that sprinkled onto his muzzle and then scratched his back a little.

Vitani was still a deep red from Kovu and Nuka's teasing, but she brushed it off and tried her best to keep her attention on the game. With a skillful leap, she caught the wet moss into her mouth, a spray of water droplets trickling down her neck. She sprung away from Nuka and quickly set the moss down and rolled the ball to Kopa. Kopa was not quite as an expert as Nuka or Vitani, but he could still pat a ball back and forth between the lions. He nimbly kicked the ball with his forepaw toward Kovu, awaiting his next move.

The small cub let his eyes escape toward Vitani's. Her eyes sparkled a light blue and shimmered in the warm sunlight. A smile spread across his lips as he admired the beauty of the young cub. To his embarassment, she glanced at him and caught his gaze. Much to his delight, however, she smiled at him in return. Kopa didn't let his admiration keep him from missing the ball, so he quickly set his gaze back to the game. Still, he couldn't forget that wonderful look she had given him.

Nuka waited his turn for the ball to reach him. But he also watched the other cubs. He loved to learn new things because then he could use the information for his own benefit or against other people. SLOOSH! The ball whizzed towards him, he sprung into the air and slammed his paw against it hard sending it furiously towards Kovu. He smniled deviously and smirked as he saw his brothers astonihed face and then began to chuckle and roll.

Kovu tried to think what he could do. He knew he couldnt hit back. He had little time then he got a thought. Kopa was behind him so if jumped it would hit him. He smirked and jumped just as the ball passes. Water sprayed his whisker, but the ball was rushing towards Kopa now. Kovu heard Nuka laughing even louder now.
