War Cheetahs 2 Roleplay!

OOC it's 9am here. Normally I would be in school but the first 4 lessons were cancelled today =D. I'll only leave for school in three hours.

Kayan nodded, "Kara." he said it once, getting it well placed in his memory, "It's nice to meet you." 'What a nice name...' he then went to the entire rogue thing "Yep, I'm a rogue." he wasn't surprised that she'd never heard his name before, since she was the only cheetah he had ever met beside his mother. He knew that it was clear to determine that he was a rogue from the way he looked. But it's not like he had a waterhole and food everyplace he went, most of his time was spent travelling.

[Arani]

OCC: Alright. Lol that must be real nice. And ugh I almost forgot daylight savings!!!! 0_o *jots down note to change clocks.* xD

"Nice to meet you to." She said, relaxing further. She sat down. "We haven't had a rogue come by in a while. Are you just passing by?" She immediately scolded herself. This was a rogue! Rogues weren't to be trusted, especially when she was watching over her friend's cubs. She then noticed that the cubs were all very nervous and started whining about their discomfort. She turned to the side, one eye on Kayan, one eye on the cubs. "Easy now. Everything is alright." She said comfortingly. The cubs calmed down some, and soon, one cub pulled her brother's ear. They were suddenly in a wrestling match making Kara chuckle at their determination to be the best. 'Just like me when I was young' she thought to herself, again chuckling at the memories.

OOC I just got a call from school... instead of coming 5th lesson I need to come in 4th. Still, easy day.

Kayan said, "Well, I really don't know what I'll do..." he only then noticed the cubs for the first time. 'Ugh, she has a mate already. Of course...' however he couldn't help himself from smiling. Those were the first cubs he had ever seen, and they were really cute. "So uh... nice cubs you have there... I mean, I've never seen cubs before, but they're cute." he didn't consider the possibility that the cubs were somebody else's.

[Daenerys]

OCC: *yawn* I'm gonna hit the hay. You guys continue if you want, you're doing great. Good night.

[Arani]

OCC: Very easy! 0_o Night Star! I'll keep going for a little bit, but I'll be going soon as well. Even if I'm a night owl, I'm still about to fall asleep. lol.

Kara was surprised when he addressed the cubs as her own. They really looked that much like her? "Oh no, they're not mine." Kara said with a smile. "I'm babysitting them. Their mother is my friend and she's off doing something real important." She again wondered why Amani wouldn't tell her where she was headed. She pushed the thought aside and turned her attention back to Kayan. "Well what ever you do, I wish you could luck." Her smile grew a little. He was nice, she could admit that. But she could never fully admit to herself that she thought that he was actually kinda cute.

With that Kayan's heart lifted a little, "Oh, I see..." he tried to think of what exactly he should say now. He was about to just smile back at her, give up and leave, but he just couldn't when he saw her smiling at him. He kind of lost the need to say anything to her when he saw the cubs were staring at him. They looked at him with confused expressions as if he wasn't even a cheetah, but he still found it acorable. "Hello there." he said with a slight smile.

[Arani]

The cubs jumped and retreated, stumbling, behind Kara once more, peering out from behind her with nervous, but slightly playful faces, almost like it was a game of hide and seek. "They're a little shy around strangers." Kara said, giving him another quick smile before turning her head towards the cubs. "They're mom can be gone for long periods of time. They've started to grow afraid because of that, no matter what I say to them." One climbed up onto her back, making her wince. "Hey! Watch the claws!" She said with a playful grin. "You're nails are gonna be the death of me!" The little cub rolled off her back in a fit of laughter. Her brother took this opportunity and gave her a playful growl, only for her to not respond through her laughter.

OOC: I've decided to head off to school a little early. I'm letting you know so that you wont stay awake just because you're waiting for my post while I'm not even home.

Kayan smiled but then said, "I can understand how they must be feeling..." he sighed but then his smile returned as he looked at the cubs. Sure, his mother was dead, but it happened so long ago that he had put it behind him already. Still, he couldn't help but wonder why was their mother always dissapearing for such long periods of time (according to Kara's account), but he shrugged it off since Kara was there to watch them. He hesitated but then asked, "I guess the father went with the mother." he was just being curious and hoped that what he was saying wasn't too personal, itj ust made sense that their mother would have left them under their father's watch, but he wasn't there. Again, he smiled as he looked at the two cubs.

[Arani]

OCC: I was gonna go to bed after this post anyway. Cya later!

Kara's smile faded. "No. The father has passed. It's just me and Amani and her father, who is starting to get old." The cubs had stopped, and now starred at her with sad eyes. She starred back at them for a moment before giving them a reassuring smile. "But lets not forget what a fantastic cheetah an loving father he was. Come on, you two, why don't you go practice your climbing until I finish talking with Kayan." They nodded and ran for the tree. Kara turned back to Kayan and looked him strait in the eye. "They're just old enough to remember him. He loved them dearly and they miss him terribly." She smiled. "But they remember who he was. And with that and myself they can get by."
