The TLK cub was a male. How could a cub possibly change from male to female and how could Simba and Nala age so much in such little time? O.o

The general assumption before SP seemed to be that Simba's cub was male. In a couple of TLK storybooks I've read it said that the cub at the end was their son. Buut in storybooks published after SP came out it states that the cub is their daughter. That could be "proof" I guess that Simba and Nala did not have a son before Kiara; the canon was literally rewritten

Not neccesarily...remember, SP was written by other people. The 'canon' on Kopa was for TLK, not SP. And what about this theory, Kopa died -_- As much as I hate that theory (cuz of killing Kopa )'= ) it seems a bit logical. Simba and Nala (but mostly Nala) just went with 'Hakuna Matata' or something. They could have had Kiara on the way when Kopa died. So Simba and Nala spent a few months or weeks in grief, but focused on Kiara.

Oh. My. God.
I just can't believe this. You haven't mentioned any "proof". Everything I say you blatantly ignore. I don't care if you think he is real in your perfect fan-fiction world, but don't say Kopa was in the movie is you have no proof other than "the cub TOTALLY looks male", because that's your opinion. There is no evidence to point to the cub being male. It is just a cub. It was changed into Kiara, and yes, I agree they did a bad job of changing the design and they should've kept the original design. But just because you think the cub was Kopa or Chaka of Tanabi or WHATEVER, does not mean it is.
And just because some people wrote some books about a son of Simba, doesn't mean that the writers of SP created a conspiracy or any stupid thing like that. They didn't know Kopa exsited.
So please, I am not a "dream killer", I am trying to make you people understand that just because you think he is in the movie, doesn't mean he is.
I feel sorry for people who have just started looking into TLK, because they would get confused with the amount of people who say "Kopa is in TLK" or "Nala is Vitani's real mother" or "Sarafina and Taka were toootally in love" without saying that it is just what they think, and that the "facts" they are coming up with are completely made up. I remember when I started on this site and I humbly looked into Kopa and was sucked in to all the "Kopa in TLK" bs, and then I simply looked at the facts and I am now all the more wiser.
So listen to what I'm saying and please, think of how your "facts" confuse people. This is the number one reason I am debating this.
