Yeah and I get how Simba doesn't weigh all that much but I think the gigantic distance he fell more than makes up for it. And when he reached the bottom he was able to brush the entire thing off and continue running for his life like nothing even happened.

The difference with Mufasa was that he was falling straight down and on his back. Simba was sliding down and tumbling.

Yes. Simba was in control, mostly. Mufasa couldn't control where he fell or how hard. He landed on top of the wildebeasts. The wildebeasts killed him D=

I think both are correct .
1st. He could've broke his back falling off a big cliff.
2nd. He got trampled to mske him die forever.

The fall hurt him terribly...
The wildebeest unintentionally finished him off.
