The Mystics. *Private Arani and QOPR*

[AdAstrα]

Ayira frowned.
"I guess that would make sense." she concluded, "But I sure wish they'd help just a little bit. I have no idea what to do right now." She took a deep breath and couldn't help but shudder as Hofu's scent filled her nostrils. They were getting closer.

[Arani]

"All we know at this moment is that he's just stalking, waiting for us to make some kind of wrong turn. How can we use that against him?" Hatari looked at the path ahead of them, Hofu's scent quickly filling the air. "Wait a minute... wrong turn..." Hatari quickly looked at Ayria with an excited, yet dangerously mischievous face. "I've got a plan, come on!" She then started to run down the path and down the right side of a fork, away from Hofu's scent.

[AdAstrα]

Ayira hesitated for a few seconds before she followed. "Are..are you sure about this, Hatari?" she asked, struggling only a little to keep up with her, "This feels a bit..strange."

[Arani]

"No, I'm not sure. But it's something." Hatari said, keeping her eyes on the path ahead of her. Hofu should be pretty confused, she thought, and that's exactly what she was hoping for.

[AdAstrα]

Ayira couldn't help but think that it was a strange thing to be doing at that moment, however she couldn't think of anything else to do, and thus she kept running. She listened carefully. The spirits of her ancestors hadn't returned and she knew for certain that Hatari was right. This was a problem the two of them would have to solve together.
A sudden movement somewhere behind them made her jump. It was distant, but still close enough to send chills down her spine. She gasped. Were they being followed?

[Arani]

Hatari smiled as she heard someone beind them. "I knew he couldn't resist." She chuckled to herself and went a little faster. "Come on Ayria! Better keep up!" She had that determined look on her face that meant 'You are so beaten.' She almost wished she could show him what was coming his way.

[AdAstrα]

Ayira didn't need to put much effort into running faster, the thought of Hofu chasing them was enough to make her want to get as far away from him as she possibly could. Hatari seemed very happy, which also worried her a little - not that she didn't trust her judgement, but it definitely sounded like she now had some kind of plan. A plan that probably could work, but if it failed...she didn't even want to think about what would happen then.

[Arani]

Hatari soon broke through a clearing, on a cliff. They were surprisingly close to Pride Rock, but Hatari didn't care. "This is the spot." She said as Ayria came up next to her. She looked around. All the memories flooded back to her in a huge wave. "If this doesn't work then we can try and escape through that crevase over there." She pointed towards a creveas between two very large rocks. All they could do now was wait.

"Oh..ok." Ayira said nervously as she stood next to Hatari. She had no idea what would happen now, and it frightened her, yet she would have to remain calm somehow. If she freaked out, the rogue would pick up on her fear and use it to his advantage, which certainly could put their lives at risk. Therefore, she simply had to trust Hatari to know what she was doing, and try to help her whenever possible. He was approaching faster now. She could hear him breathing. Just a few more minutes and he'd be there..staring at them and deciding what his next move should be..

[Arani]

Hatari looked around nervously as his breathing reached her ears. It almost seemed to be coming from all different directions. "I can't tell where he is." Hatari said quietly. "Can you, Ayria?"
