One of them spat at him, "We were talking about your father you idiot! Your father was a murderer! Nothing good came out of him!" no one in the crowd seemed to be disagreeing.

Karus' son laughed and said, "My father causes fear in everyone that hears his name. That is power and respect." Karus' son then said, "And like me he was an orphan except I have my mother and he had no parents."

The crowd didn't seem to be affected by that comment, "That's no reason to lure every deer in the forest into a death trap!"

Karus' son laughed, "And he made fools out of all of you idiots as will I!"

The crowd began closing on him, "Think again!"

Suddenly a wind began to start and was so strong it pushed every deer backwards. Karus' son ran away. "My father protects me you fools!"

One of the bucks yelled, "Get him!" most of the deer went after him besides the does and a few more that stayed behind. Between those few were Membo and the rest of his famillies. "Shouldn't we go after him?" Geno sighed, "If it was so easy it would have been done already Membo. Unfortunately it is not."

Karus' son leaped past a tree which fell down, blocking the way of anyone trying to catch him. He kept running however until he found a safe spot. Meanwhile the buck looked at Geno confused, "What do you mean by so easy sir?"

Geno sighed and looked at him, "For some reason getting Karus was difficult. I get the feeling that this would be the same."

The buck sighed and said, "Was Karus really evil sir? I mean how evil?"
