Aleu ran after Kirby, "Kirby, stop!"

The pups just laughed, "The dog can never catch us! He is too slow!"

Aleu however caught up with the pups. She made sure Kirby was close before blocking their path. "Now apologise." this time she would spank them if she had to. She's seen female wolves do it quite often in her old pack.

The pups then made sure they could get away from Aleu before saying, "We apologize...for being so much better than a lowly dog!" They laughed and again ran off. "You little brats!" Kirby again ran off.

Aleu again grabbed Kirby's tail, "They'll be back. And when they do will make them beg to stay." she sighed, "Let's go back so that we can be alone again." she licked his cheek. Kodi meanwhile looked at Annabeth. He wondered whether she was already feeling any different.

Annabeth looked at Kodi, "Anything wrong?" Kirby smiled and went back to the ship with Aleu. Once they were on the lower deck Kirby asked, "So uh could you ever have another mate again?"

Kodi shook his head and smiled, "No, I'm okay." he then asked, "Are you feeling, uh... any difference?" Aleu smiled and said, "Well, depends..." she went ahead and put her head under his chin.

Annabeth smiled and said, "Not yet...besides the happiness I feel around you that is." Kirby smiled and then blurted out some stuff better left unsaid, "I love you Aleu. I want you to be my mate and we can have pups together and..." Suddenly the wolf pups were there laughing, "Hahaha they're sitting in the tree." Kirby growled, "Alright you brats!" He ran onto the front of the ship.

Kodi smiled and lay down beside Annabeth. Aleu also walked with Kirby to the upper deck and grabbed the pups. "Why are you here?" she pretended, "You can't be intending to stay here are you?"

Annabeth said, "They'll probably look like me but I want them to look like you more." Suddenly the wolf pups stuck their tongues out at Kirby and he tried to grab them. He missed however and fell off the ship with his head hitting a protruding board hard. His body lay in the snow. The wolf pups gulped knowing they were in trouble.
