Nello sighed and said, "We do." he said, referring to him and his sister in particular.

Membo looked surprised. "Oh, I didn't know." 'That she already has a mate...' he then sighed and walked the other way. Nello looked at him, "It wasn't your fault."

The doe sighed and looked at her mate, "I was just trying to say hello to him. We're old friends." The buck nodded. "Sorry I didn't know." He caught up to him. "Hey wait buddy I apologize but you know I thought...I mean bucks are looking for does right now...you can talk to her." The buck just sighed and said, "You want me to stay?" Everyone except Laini, Marena, and Nello yelled, "NO!"

Membo looked at the buck but then said, "Oh, no..." he didn't know whether he himself was telling the buck the truth or not, "You see, we were friends as fawns..." Nello nodded, "Yes..." suddenly he raised an eyebrow and looked at all the other deer, "Where did you come from anyways?"

The deer said, "We heard that the grandson was returning and we wish to see him exiled again!" The buck just said, "I guess I'll stay for a little while." The deer booed. Marena smiled and said, "Well I...uh can show you around."

The buck smiled and said, "Go ahead and talk to her."

Membo slowly nodded and walked back towards the doe. However he didn't really know what to say. "So uh... how have you been in the past year?" Nello frowned at the deer but said nothing.
