Just before Durba could hurt her she used the maneuverer that Simba used to kick away Scar and then she ran, yet Durba caught up and pounced on her yet again. "D-Don't hurt me please Brother! Please! I want to live my life with love, and a new pride! Please!" She cried and pleaded, but nothing sent the crazy look in Durbas eyes away.

Durba was maddened, something had took over him. During the struggle he had got a scar, a scar over his left eye. Just as Scar and his father did. He looked into his sister's eyes. "Why, am I doing this?" he though. But his head was muddled with thoughts. Finally he thought something that could drive him to do it, to kill his sister, "Nguvu, chosen, CHOSEN OVER ME!!" a voice shouted through Durba's head. He was all evil now, he place a paw over Shia's neck. "You see I....I shall never be King" he said while pushing down slowing, suffocating her. "And you.....you shall never see the light of another day" Durba said finally, pushing down with all his might, his sister struggling beneath him.

Meanwhile, Uzuri was chatting to Nguvu, "King, wow". She thought of how proud he must be. Nguvu and Uzuri had no idea of what was going on just a mile away.

"yeah, it's pretty cool." said Nguvu, now used to the idea and already attempting to use it to his advantage. An awkward moment passed before he segued. "So, um, do you wanna, go for a walk?"

Uzuri smiled.
"Sure." she said, beaming at the lion before her. "I'd like that. A lot."

As they slowly walked, they meandered, unknowlingly, down Pride rock, and slowly down to the location of Durba and Shias conflict.

Shia was murdered. Her breath stopped, her body was lifeless. When she woke up, she saw: Mufasa, Sarabi, Nala, Simba, Uru, Ahadi, Mohatu and his mate too. "Who are you?" She asked, "We are the kings and queens of the past." Mohatu didn't hesitate to say. She gasped, and knew she was dead. She looked down at herself, her killer brother was gone, and she was free. "So queens do come up here!" She excitedly said. Walking towards the kings and queens and smiling.

After a few minutes, Nguvu and Uzuri found Shia. As his good spirit crept from him, Nguvu uttered one word. "Shia" After recovering from the initial shock, his next words were a yell. "FATHER!" He ran a quickly as he could back towards Pride Rock. Sweat began to emanate from him. She's only hurt, just badly hurt, he kept telling himself.

Kovu heard Nguvu's shout and came running. "What, Nguvu?" he asked upon meeting his son and heir. He wondered what news Nguvu had for him.

"Shia... there." Nguvu rasped, nodding backwards towards his dead sister. "She needs help!"

Kovu went over to where Nguvu had pointed. Shia wasn't moving. "Shia? Shia!" he shouted, trying to wake his daughter, but to avail. Slowly, he realized the horrible truth. Shia was dead. Tears began to flow. "KIARA!" he shouted in order to get his mate's attention.
