Nello and Membo also didn't know what to do or say.

Suddenly Karus' son laughed at the other fawn. "You are a fool. You lost your parents and grandparents and you lost any friends you had." Suddenly Karus' mate appeared and laughed. Karus' son went over to her. "Oh I love you Mother." He did that to mock the fawn. "You are a fool." He then said to the rest of them, "When I get older I'll kill all of you." Suddenly he left and laughed as did his mother. The fawn just stood there but held back any tears. He could never return to his grandparents and these fawns all hated him. Again he held back any tears and just held his head still high. "I...exile...myself..."

Everybody else were just too confused in order to say anything. However Membo suddenly spoke up, "What?" for some reason he didn't seem angry anymore.

The fawn just laughed, "I'll have to...live on my own now."

Membo just said, "You can't." he walked closer, "If you leave now, then he won. Is that what you want?"

The fawn just laughed, "You hate me Membo." Then to make sure Membo hated him he repeated what Karus' son said, "Your mother deserved to die." Ronno then yelled, "Get out of here!" Marena just put her head down and looked at the fawn, "Why are you making us hate you?!"

Membo just huffed, "Let him go Marena." if that's what he wanted so bad, then Membo was more than willing to play along with it.

The fawn just nodded at Membo and left. After everyone was out of sight he put his head down and finally started looking for some cover to sleep under. Marena just put her head down and shook her head. Eventually a tear fell to the ground. Marena then sighed and looked at Nello and her mother. "Can we go now please?"

Nello was confused at the way his sister cried all of a sudden, but he decided to not ask. "Yeah, this is depressing..." he didn't feel like staying there.

Lana nodded and said, "Yes my fawns let us go now." They both looked horrible and so Lana did not ask. Suddenly by some fluke Nello and Marena got separated from Lana and the forest became pitch black.
