And of course it's not the most pleasant sight out there, but it's a very neat experience to see a hunter's work. I agree with Ral that seeing one of the more agile cats hunting is cool. It's simply nature, and while not extraordinary, it's definitely fascinating.

Oooh yay! Cougars <3 I wish we had them around here, but the UK lacks large preditors.

I saw a Swan corpse yesterday, which made me feel sick. There was a rib cage and wings, all with blood and meat still hanging off them. This was very upsetting for me, since I've raised 2 baby swans from birth, untill they were taken to the big lake a few days ago. It must have been a fox that killed it.
