Aleu smiled as Kirby returned her gesture, before placing her head down on his paws, "Goodnight."

Kirby smiled and also fell asleep. "Goodnight Aleu."

Aleu quickly fell asleep. When she woke up she noticed Kirby's paw was spread around her shoulder, which caused her to smile and snuggle even closer.

Eventually morning came and Annabeth woke up first. "Good morning Kodi." She stretched out her frame and yawned.

Upon noticing Annabeth was awake, Kodi smiled and slowly removed his head from it's position on top of Annabeth's so that she could stand up if she wished. "Good morning." he said as he leaned over and licked her.

Suddenly howling was heard in the distance. "Alright dog come out or we'll kill both of you! You get out of there you cowardly dog!"

Kodi looked confused, "Who is that?" were those the wolves from yesterday?

Annabeth just said, "Wolves. Those same wolves from yesterday. I thought they were dumber than this. I was wrong." The wolves kept growling. "Out! We can smell all 4 of you on the ship! You get out dog or we'll kill the two below you!"

Kodi then realised that he had to do this to keep his sister and Kirby safe. As much has his back hurt by doing so, he slowly got up and walked out of the small room so that the wolves could see him. "Here I am." he managed to his his nerves, "What do you want?"

(( bed. By the way didn't you say that the fawn's exile is at the end? Isn't that when they're all grown-up and Karus' son is defeated / dead? ))

The wolves laughed. "We must tell you something dog...we must salute you for your courage yesterday. In fact would you like to be an honorary wolf?"
