I love to read and write.
I used to be completely enthralled with The Lion King when I was younger, and even at 10, 11, 12 I loved it, but then life and growing up got in the way. I bought and saw The Lion King 1 1/2 but other than that I was still out of the TLK world. Then I rediscovered my love in January, but I don't remember what led me to it. Since then, I've been reading it but I want more! I love Taka/Scar, Zira, and Kovu. Simba, too.
I want to write novelizations of TLK and TLK 2: Simba's Pride. I want to get permission from Disney and then write more. Advice on this? Should I contact a publisher or do something so that nothing happens? Do you think there's a possibility of Disney taking credit of my work? I'm using the scripts but I'm not sure how much to expand. Should I perhaps add lines and scenes, or just write about the story in novel format, with details?
One last thing, how do you get banners and how are they made? I'd like to try making some.
