[Open] Simba & Kovu: Brotherhood

(Yes, I changed the title lol. To the members of this RP, please check the ooc post for this RP every now and then for updates on it as I will be using that post now to post how the RPs doing and what I want to happen next as I have ideas to use in this RP. Anyone new wanting to join, Sarabi and Nala are still open. Unless they get casted the current members will assume their roles. To anyone who wants info on this RP, view the ooc post as well. It was a rather rainy morning when the kingdom once again travled to Pride Rock to see Mufasa's second born son. Simba, his first and the future king, was born 4 months before his new brother. Nevertheless, their new cub, Kovu got the same treatment as Simba did at his birth ceremony.

As the days passed, Kovu, was now one month old. He and his older brother, Simba, loved to play and where very happy. They were very close as brothers as well. Mufasa, the king of Pride Rock and their father was very happy with his 2 cubs who he found to be cute and polite. "Come on, brother, let's play!" An egure Simba said to a still sleeping Kovu. Simba had been use to getting up at the crack of dawn for training and all, Kovu on the other hand wasn't.

Kovu slowly opened his eyes to see Simba standing next to him. "I'm trying to sleep," he said. The last thing the cub wanted to do right now was get up. However, he doubted that Simba would leave him alone. Kovu turned over to his other side, preparing himself to be pestered.

Simba smiled as he walked over Kovu and stood above him. "Come on bro." He said to his younger brother as he rubbed against his face and then inserted his ear into his mouth as he started to tug on it slighty growling in a playful matter. "Up, up, up!" Simba said in a muffled voice as he continued to tug his brother's ear. Simba loved his younger brother very much and tried his very best to be his best friend, and the best brother he could be to his younger sibiling.

Kovu finally woke up. "Ok, ok, I'm up!" he said, obviously annoyed. Kovu took a deep breath. "So, what do you want to do?" he asked in a rather irritable tone of voice. Mentally, he had determined to do whatever Simba wanted, if only to get his big brother to leave him alone.

[Cyrus]

(Just something to remember, he doesn't start out jealous and disliking his brother. If you're having him act annoyed and such because he is tired that's perfectly fine. You can show signs of him being jealous, but don't go into full jealous/hate mode just yet lol.)

"Play of coarse." Simba smiled down at his brother and rubbed against him once more purring. "Dad's taking me out again to train, so we won't get to spend a lot of time together today." He then stepped off Kovu to allow him to get up. "I love being the future king, but it sucks that I don't get to spend a lot of time with you anymore, but I promise I'll make sure I still have time for you bro." Simba said with a smile as he licked Kovu's face. "You're not only my little brother, but my best friend."

OOC: Yeah, he's just annoyed from being tired.

"Great," Kovu said. By now, his annoyance was starting to settle down. "Do you have a particular game in mind?" he asked, hoping that Simba did so that they could get it over with and he could get on with his day. Kovu sat down, awaiting his big brother's answer.

[Cyrus]

"Play fight." Simba said to his younger brother with a smirk as he started to jump around him and growl playfully showing his teeth. "Come on little bro." Simba taunted. "It's just me and you right here right now." Simba teased. He of coarse was playing and he and Kovu had play faught before many times Simba usually being the winner.

"This time, Simba, I shall win," Kovu replied. He then went at Simba with a cub's imitation of the snarl of an adult lion. He managed to get ahold of Simba's tail, but was forced to jump back. "You're good, Simba, but I plan to make myself better," Kovu told him.

[Cyrus]

"Don't flatter yourself kid killa wod." Simba taunted as he evaded Kovu's attempts. "You don't have the juice to take me!" Simba smirked and without warning jumped. "Raaaah!" He shouted as he landed on kovu playfully biting him. Mufasa also had been teaching him how to fight and get the upper hand in a battle.

"Ha, Nala gives me pointers when you're out training with Dad," Kovu retorted. He then leapt at Simba again, taking hold of his ear and attempting to push him to the ground. Kovu let go. "Come on, Simba, give up. You know it's pointless to keep fighting," he said. Kovu was hoping that this play-fighting was wearing his brother out so that they could eventually stop.
