Yeah. Um, okay, I've gone through and read the previous posts and this is what I've gathered:

- A member was issued a warning and sent back a reply that was supposed to be a joke, but the Mod took it as disrespect and gave out another warning.
- The member is upset and doesn't feel that the second warning was necessary and went public with this concern.
- A topic on this concern was started but was locked.
- We are now in a debate on warnings and PMs and a rule.

Can't we just all follow the rules, settle arguments/concerns by PMs, and all have a good time? We're here to discuss TLK, not a questionable warning.

^ I agree with most of that, but some are bound to not follow rules. But we really should settle arguments and conserns by PM's. It's only fair to other members. We just want to have a good time, and all this drama about the rule is not what I call having a good time.

And perhaps, we should have the rule. But going around and causing drama like this is not the way to go. This should be worked out in a PM. Please work it out

I think it's a little late to work this one out by PM. On a topic like this I think that every single member has a right to say what the like about it. I mean it's conserning everyone in the long run. If it was really small between one member and Moka or one of the mods it shouldn't be put out there in public, but this really does affect everyone, no mater what happens.

I am NOT blaiming the member for their actions. This is important for other members. I didn't even consider a rule like this until now.

^ Nope. Read the OP, all this thread is supposed to be is where a member has posted saying that an issue that they agreed with before has not been resolved, and it has gone way off topic now. The purpose of this thread was to discuss a possible revision / removal of the rule of not being able to discuss staff decisions / warnings in public on the forum (including the chatroom). It had nothing to do with Sillydog getting a warning the other day except from possibly stemming from it.

One more off topic post, and I might just take it upon myself to lock this, I have not yet because I wanted to give people a chance to discuss it properly but if people can not then I do not think this thread should stay open personally.

So getting back on topic; we (the staff) are currently looking into a revision of this rule and I am sure Moka will let you know as soon as we get a finalised decision, but rest assured all arguments (about the rule) both for and against have been taken into consideration. Thanks for bringing it up, not so much thanks for going way off topic :P

But just doing something about the rule will not stop these topics. Everything from communication to private PM's to warnings to revising the rule has to do with this rule/topic, and every single one has to be dealt with. So it's not really off topic. I mean it might be a tony bit, but really it all has to do with the rule. Most of it anyway.

Even if not it is a start, I get what you are saying but let us just stick to one issue at a time, yes? Work on this one, and then the rest will be easier to crack for us ^^
