Did You Think Scar's Death Was Sad?

Of course his death wasn't sad. I hate to break Godwin's law, but Scar was Hitler in lion form, watch the second half of "Be Prepared" and you'll easily see the resemblance, with his bombastic oratory and the Nazi-type march by the hyenas. Also I read somewhere that an early idea of Lion King was to have Scar turn Pride Rock into a concentration camp, but that idea was scratched. Still, he killed a lot of lionesses by starvation, without any remorse whatsoever.

I think Mufasa should have killed Scar in the beginning when Scar turned his back, but Mufasa was too kind. The truth is, there would have been a lot less future suffering. Simba was also too generous when he gave mercy to Scar near the end.

For what everything he has done that was so cruel and painful to Simba throughout those years (Mufasa's death, tricking his own nephew, exiling him, and almost killing him the same exact way in the fight scene), Scar deserved it. To me, his death is not sad.

Well, I am, I guess you could say, a half-fan of Scar. So I think his death was kinda sad. I wish he would have turned good and live with everybody else in the Pridelands.

His murder of Mufasa was unforgivable. If I was in Simba's place I would do whatever I could to kill Scar. He was definitely one of Disney's most despicable villains.

I was not saddened by his death. I`m never sad when a Disney villain dies. Even though I think Scar is one of the greatest Disney villains, it doesn`t mean I would mourn his passing.

But when you look back the the terrible childhood he had, you can't help but feel sorry for him
