Kirby said, "You uh wanna stay here?" Annabeth said, "They're your parents. They are supposed to support you. And I'll protect and defend you if need be."

The female nodded and again cuddled up against his side, "Why not?" Kodi looked at her for a few seconds before suddenly smiling at her. "Thank you."

Annabeth said, "I should be the one thanking you. If I hadn't met you I would still be hateful like my father." Kirby just nodded and smiled.

Kodi smiled, "I'm glad I met you too." The female again placed her head on Kirby's shoulder. She let out a sigh and continued to watch the Aurora Borealis in silence.

Annabeth pushed him down and laughed at him. "I thought you were stronger than that Kodi." She waited for him to get up and then ran off. Kirby said, "So uh what do you want to do?"

Kodi got up, before laughing and running after her. All his mail runs were now paying off. The female kept her head on Kirby's shoulder, "I don't know." she said with a smile.

Annabeth tried to run faster as it seemed that Kodi was catching up on her. Off in the distance Steele looked at the father, "See what did I tell you? I told you she was lying. I told you she loved Balto's son."

At some point Kodi caught up with Annabeth. He was now running right beside her, "So where are we going?" he asked with a laugh. The father growled in anger. "Oh she'll get it alright..." lucky for them they were pretty far and were not even running towards he and Steele's direction.

Steele said, "Good You can torture both of them. That is if you have any qualms about that since she is your daughter..." Annabeth laughed, "I don't know. I just wanted to look around." Kirby meanwhile said, "Well I guess I could show you something else."
