Simba ran after the image of Mufasa as it faded. "No! Father!..." he shouted. However, it was too late. He looked around and saw the lionesses coming to check on him. Just then, Rafiki showed up. "What was THAT? The weather-- Pbbbah! Very peculiar. Don't you think?" the mandrill said. "Yeah. Looks like the winds are changing," Simba replied. "Ahhh. Change is good," Rafiki answered. "Yeah, but it's not easy. I know what I have to do. But, going back means I'll have to face my past. I haven't thought about it for so long," Simba said. Without warning, Rafiki whacked Simba over the head with his staff. " Oww! Jeez-- What was that for?" Simba asked. "It doesn't matter; it's in the past!" Rafiki said with a laugh. "Yeah, but it still hurts," Simba replied as he rubbed his head. "Oh yes, the past can hurt. But the way I see it, you can either run from it, or... learn from it," Rafiki stated. The mandrill then swung his staff again, but this time, Simba ducked. "Hah, you see! So what are you going to do?" Rafiki asked. "First, I'm gonna take your stick," Simba replied as he snatched the stick away and tossed it aside. "No, no, no, no! Not the stick!" Rafiki exclaimed as he picked it up. He then saw Simba getting ready to run off. "Hey, where are you going?" Rafiki asked. "I'm going back!" Simba shouted back. But before he left, he looked at his mother, then at Nala and then at the other lionesses, who were overjoyed to hear him say that. "Come on, everyone! We're finally going home!" he stated as he began to run.
