Shujaa

I'm aware that I previously posted a profile for my version of Nala's father, but that part of my storyline wasn't used, so I modified it. He will be appearing in my sequel to Out of the Pridelands, which is currently casting in the RP planning and discussion.

Species: Lion
Gender: Male
Pride: Pridelander
Mate: Sarafina
Child: Nala
Grandchild: Kopa
Personality: Caring and good-hearted, but in a moment of remembering his old life as a rogue, he abandoned his family to take up that life once more.
Bio/Description: Shujaa is a large, tan-furred lion with a reddish-gold mane and striking brown eyes. Earlier in life, he was a rogue who needed a new home. He discovered Pride Rock and upon hearing his story, Mufasa allowed him to stay. It was during this time that he and Sarafina fell in love. Together, they had Nala. He loved his mate and daughter, but sometimes remembered life as a rogue and left them to be one once again. Later, when Nala was an adult, had become queen and had Kopa, he suddenly returned to Pride Rock, wanting to see if Sarafina and Nala were still there. Both lionesses were initially hesitant to accept him once again, but eventually did.

Perhaps he could appear sometime during Kopa's cubhood. That way, we have plenty of time for Sarafina and Nala to learn to accept him again.
