The expression on the wolf's face melted into a sad one. However he didn't say anything and just sat there silently. Kodi meanwhile approached the house of Jenna's owners. The door was looked so he decided to sit outside and wait. As he waited his mind silently drifted and he started thinking about Annabeth. With her being a wild dog he couldn't know when he would see her again."[/b]

Annabeth tried to hold back a laugh on her face and said, "I apologize." Eventually Rosie opened the door and said, "Oh hi Kodi you must be looking for your mother..." She brought Jenna outside.

All the wolf did was frown at her. Kodi smiled as Rosie opened the door. He just found kids adorable. He then spoke to his mother, "Hey mom. I figured I should let you know that I'm okay and everything..."

Jenna said, "I'm glad you checked up on me son." Annabeth held back her laugh, "Sorry. I just was laughing at how that wolf was the one you liked."

Kodi smiled, before suddenly remembering what Annabeth had told him last night. He knew he had to tell his father about it right away. "Do you happen to know where dad is?" The wolf glared at her, "This isn't funny."

Jenna said, "That I don't know son. If he isn't in town he is near the ship that he sleeps in all of the time." Annabeth said, "Sorry but yes it is funny."

Kodi smiled and got up, "Thanks mom, I'll see you later." he decided to head towards the old ship. The wolf growled and left, obviously angry since it was her fault that he was in this mess.

Annabeth just sighed as he walked away. Soon the female wolf threw some snow in his face. "Oh and by the way I am giving the gift you gave to me back!" The whole pride laughed at him.

The wolf was really tempted to tell the pack of Annabeth's lie, but he knew he couldn't betray her like that. He walked away from them as well. When Kodi got to the wrecked ship his father wasn't there. He went back to the village so that he could look for him there.

Annabeth sighed and went up to her father, "Father I was wondering if I could go back to the town and spy on the wolf-dog some more?"
