Kodi shook his head, "No, I was inside. I only found out when they brought her in." Annabeth's companion tried to calm himself down, "Okay, shouldn't be so hard... As long as we just love eachother, as in just share feelings..." he looked at her, "Right?"

Annabeth said, "Uh I don't know what to do. I guess we just lick eachother or something." Kirby said, "But if you knew who the wolf was you would kill it right?" Meanwhile Steele found the tavern he was in after he came back alone and left Balto and the others out there with the medicine. "Guess what! Steele has returned!"

Annabeth's companion said, "Oh, good. Licking. Only licking is good." Kodi shrugged, "I don't know if I can kill a wolf. But I guess I would try..." All the dogs in the tavern looked at Steele and most of them did not seem happy to see him.

Steele said, "Yes I have returned from the inhumane exile! You should all be ashamed for loving Balto more than the real hero!" Kirby just nodded, "If we see any wolves we'll try and get them." Annabeth said, "Don't get carried away. This is only pretend remember?"

Some of the dogs growled at Steele, "The real hero? A puppy would have done better than you did." Kodi slowly nodded, "Yes, sure..." Her companion eyed her, "Of course I remember. The problem is what will you do?"

Annabeth then noticed a few of the pack members were looking at them. "Uh they're staring at us." Steele said, "Yes the real hero. That wolf-dog won only by pure luck. And you were fools to believe he actually had some talent!" Kirby just nodded.

Her companion looked nervous, "What if they decide that this is more serious?" One of the dogs said, "Even his son is a hero. What good have you done to anyone?" Kodi then said to them, "He said that he'll only let Dusty go tomorrow."

Kirby said, "Well we better go back to the mailroom." Annabeth said, "Well uh try to enjoy it I guess. I mean you are a male." Steele then said, "Hero?! Balto is a fraud. A fraud that you have believed! Now tell me where he is or I will bring wolves into this town and kill every dog present!"

Kodi slowly nodded, "Yeah..." Annabeth's companion just looked at her, "And then what? What if your father would decide to marry us? Hvae you forgot how a marriage ceremony goes around here?" The dogs growled, "You were and still are the selfish trash you've been."

Kirby nodded and said, "Don't worry she'll be alright." Annabeth said, "I uh doubt my father would do that....what was I supposed to say that I was in love with a dog?"
