How Does Simba Know This?

Sorry if this is in the wrong spot. I wasn't sure where to put this as it involves both TLK & TLK2

Okay, this question has been bugging me for 2 weeks and I wanted to hear another opinion, so here you go:
You all know the Simba's Nightmare scene right? Yeah, and you all know how Simba didn't know that Mufasa was thrown of the cliff. And even Scar didn't directly tell Simba exactly how Mufasa died other than being murdered.

So how did Simba know that Scar stuck his claws into Mufasa and through him off the cliff? And let alone, how did Simba know all those other details of Mufasa's murder if he never even saw it? Because in his nightmare he seems to know all these things as if he witnessed it only yesterday.

I'm totally confused on this. Can I get some opinions on this please?

Wow, 0.o your totally right. That never occured to me, must be the continuity person's fault. Oh I got it, Zazu woke up for being un-concious and told Simba later. Best idea I could come up with. lol.

But that wouldn't make sense because wouldn't Zazu tell the lionesses what he saw?

Yea I agree with Rose maybe he just figured it out he knew Mufasa died when he thought he "Fell" off the cliff but really Scar threw him off thats my best guess and the whole claws thing Scar did that to Simba in the fight they had at Pride Rock. He probably thought that Scar did that to Mufasa
as well.

Yeah. I blaimed it one Disney's cheapness of TLK2. But I know that thats no real reason.

Now that I think about it, it really makes no sense. How did Simba know about what happen with his Father and Scar?? And even if he did know., he would of been to young too remember.

I think it was when Scar said "Where have I seen this before?" and so Simba imagined that he was in the same position that Mufasa when he fell.

My thoughts exactly. Except I was going to use this line as an example: "Oh now I remember! This is just the way your father looked before he died." which I believe clears everything up perfectly well.

I agree with this as well. When Simba was in the exact same position that Mufasa was when he was confronting Scar in the fight scene, he was almost about to be killed the same way and he was very scared as well at that moment. When Simba was having the nightmare, he probably remembered how he was in that position with Scar when Kovu was about to throw him off the cliff. All those memories of pain that he went through in his life seemed to have brought him up to this point when he sees Mufasa's death happening through his own eyes of horror from start to end. He sees the details of the death scene now.
