Nala beamed happily. "Thank you" she replied. The hunting party began dragging the corpse to their spot of the jungle.

All of the lionesses were proud of Nala. Meanwhile, back at their place, Simba was roused from his rest as he heard the pride coming. He got up to greet them. He then saw the body. "Welcome back," He said, greeting his mother first and then Nala. He noticed that Nala seemed especially proud. "What's going on?" he asked.

"Well Simba, I caught the antelope" Nala shouted happily, bounding up to him.

"Impressive, most impressive," Simba replied. He then took up a place at the corpse. "Shall we eat?" he said.

Nala gazed over at Sarabi, it was her choice who took the first bite.

"Simba should take the first bite, as he is the future king," Sarabi said as she looked at her son. The other lionesses agreed. Simba needed no further permission. He tore into the carcass, signaling the start of the meal.

Nala nodded and started to eat her full, she managed to rip a leg off and dragged it away from the kill. Nala wasn't a big fan of eating with everyone else, she wasn't greedy, she just liked being on her own sometimes.

OOC: Ok, I think we've done a good amount with the adolescent part. Time to move on so we can get to the end fight.

The pride ate to its heart's content. Simba rested well that night. Soon, time had passed once more, and Simba grew into an even more handsome adult lion. His red mane was long and magnificent like Mufasa's had been, and his fur was soft and shiny. At the moment, he was being admired by the lionesses. As they did so, Simba marveled at Nala. She had become even more beautiful. "Wow..." he said as he looked at her.

Nala walked up to Simba. She looked over at him, "Hey handsome" she said admiringly. She smiled, "Simba really is the most handsome male I've ever seen" Nala thought to herself .

"Hey," Simba replied. In his mind, he knew that it would be time for the pride to return home soon, but he didn't want to. He just wanted to stay in the jungle with Nala. "It's going to be time to return to Pride Rock soon," he told her.
