Who do you think was the main villain?

Just mentioned this in another thread but one possible dislikeable thing about TLK2 for me, was that it had too many villains. Let's take a look at the candidates; there is Kovu, Zira, Vitani and Nuka. Each of them had their own motives for their actions (by that I mean Zira was obsessed with Scar, Nuka wanted attention etc...). Except for Vitani, who just seems to be in it for the violence.

Now by main villain, I mean the villain in which the plot is mostly based on and emphasises on.
So Kovu turns out to be a kind of anti hero, so I wouldn't say it was him. Zira of course dies, as usually does happen to a main villain in the end of a story (unless it decides to be not cliché and dispose of them in a different way, that is.) which makes her possibly the one. Vitani though is also seen a lot; and even has a scene of evil enactment on her own (stalking Kovu and Simba and getting very excited at the moment Kovu could have killed him) and to me she was the most evil outlander for the most part... Except for the ending obviously...

So who do you think was the main villain, and why? Someone different than those three perhaps? I know it could just obviously be Zira but either way; I am attempting to spark an interesting conversation :P.

Sorry for being boring and currently unable to think outside the box but I think it's Zira xD For obvious reasons I guess. But if anyone else has a different opinion, I'm willing to hear it lol.

Nice find Flip, I would have to say the main villain is Zira, the others ifare plenty evil
but she was the one who made them that way, maybe if they hadn't been with Zira
they might not have been so evil. But thats just my opinion

Zira is the driving force behind the evil plot and without her there might not have been a... well, evil plot xP

You make an interesting point there about Vitani though - how excited she was when Kovu had the chance to kill Simba. If she had been "the chosen one" there is no way she would've let Simba get away. It's true she seems to be in it more for the violence than anything else, and she seems to be loving it too! That does make her pretty evil I suppose. Never thought of that before

And what about Nuka? Some say that he was Scar's brother, and he also wanted respect from his pride more than anything else, so his role as a villain was pretty big too in that sense...

I think Zira was the mane villian. She was the leader of all the outsiders. It seems logical to me.

In my opinion, Zira is the main villain. She`s the leader of the Outlander pride.
The movie/plot focuses on her the most and her reasons for hating Simba, her plans to take over Pride Rock.

I don`t think it`s right to categorize Vitani and Nuka as "villains," simply because I don`t think they were really evil to begin with.

Yeah.
I'd consider Zira the main villian. After all, she's the leader of the Outsiders, trains Kovu to kill Simba, and refuses to beleive in "We are one". She is definetly the main villian.

One word: Zira. Lol. She was the starter of all happenings, was the leader for the war, and Vitani listened to her, which probably meant she was Zira's follower. Nuka could possibly be, but he died during the movie anyways before Zira was killed. The bad guy wouldn't have died a before the ending.

Exactly. Zira was definetly the main villian. She mislead all the other Outsiders. They realized that they were one but Zira clearly saw it differently.
