Mufasa, Taka and Close Ones: The Younger Days

(OOC: I'm back! But I'll be on and off all day, because technically I'm meant to be studying. But I'll check back regularly:).

"Taka has been making traps, with me," Mipa said, smiling and pulling the little cub closer to her big body. She was a very fat lion; her belly hung almost as low as the ground, but as the cubs knew she was great to sleep next to during winter. "He did really well, too. But not every trap will work. Especially not the first one."

[Misiziri]

Ahadi: Where did Mufasa go? I've got a surprise for him!

Uru: He went back to Pride Rock with Zuzu. I think we should all take a little trip there, including you Mipa. Sarafina can come too, if she wants.

Ahadi: Alrighty, then.

Uru: We need to talk some things out.

Taka smiled at his mother, she was the only one that really cared for him.

[Alicia]

Mipa turned around to head towards pride rock, shuffling along at top speed, which wasn't very fast. "Sarafina!" she called out to her sister's daughter. Since her sister died, she felt she was very responsible for that little cub. "Come and talk to your aunt for a moment?"

[Misiziri]

Uru: It might be a better idea not to get Sarafina involved in this.

They finally reach pride rock, as Zuzu and Muffy have already arrived.

Muffy: Hey, dad!

Ahadi: Hey, sonny!

Uru: Zuzu?

Zuzu: Yes, milady?

Uru: Take Muffy and Taka elsewhere, and then return.

Uru: Ahadi... I'm about sick of you treating my baby boy like trash.

Zuzu: It's absurd!

Uru: He's heartbroken!

Zuzu: His heart's in pieces, yep!

Uru: He needs a father figure!

Zuzu: Male lion!

Uru: He desperately seeks your approval! And what do you do? Ignore him!

Zuzu: You suck!

Mipa frowned, sadly. She just wanted to chat to Sarafina on the way back to pride rock. She hadn't spoken to her niece all day. Nevertheless she did as her majesty told her and huffled a little faster, arriving just after Zuzu told the king he sucked.

Mipa bit her lip: telling the KING he sucked was never a good idea. She had to intervene, and quickly.

"Your highness," she said, bowing as low as her tubby body would allow, "Mufasa needs training as the king, I'm sure, but we're worried that Taka gets to spend no time with you. I fear he may be unhappy because of it. Wouldn't you rather both your sons were happy and satisfied? Then Mufasa would have a brother to stand by his side when he's a king. Otherwise," she glanced over at the direction the cubs had left in, "I'm worried they're forming some sort of rivalry.

Suggestion, but not necessary for Taka: Asking why Mufasa gets to be King and he doesn't

Zuzu, who, in the heat of the moment often blurted out some pretty volatile remarks, piped down.

Uru: Ahadi, I'm begging you to give that boy some attention.

Ahadi was dumbfounded; he couldn't think of a word in his defense

Ahadi turned away from his wife and walked away. *Then I shall 'play' with my other son* He thought smirking. "Taka, come with daddy." He smiled at Taka.

Zuzu: I don't like his tone, milady.

"Uru: I;ll be keeping an eye on them.

Taka was awed by such a close sight of his dad, "alright dad!" he exclaimed happily. "what do we do?"
Taka walked by his father's shoulder in anticipation.
