VampireSimba009 >>> There were many reasons. First and foremost, she's my only daughter, and I don't know what I'd do without her. Since she was an only child, Kiara was also the last heir to the throne before Scar's side of the family took over, so losing her would also mean losing our entire kingdom to the Outlanders. Plus, I'm sure their banishment from the Pridelands would fuel their anger enough to kidnap my daughter and hold her hostage until I gave them what they wanted. Lastly, I didn't want anything to happen to her after what had happened to poor Kopa. I just wanted to keep Kiara safe and happy while under my watch.

Mike >>> I don't think the horrors of my past are ever going to leave me. They've become a part of me forever. Just as the scar on my uncle's face was a permanent mark of his former mistreatment, there's a scar inside of me that will never go away.
