Dusty just sat there and said nothing.

His companion rolled his eyes, "They'll kill us you idiot. Find Annabeth and let's get going."

Balto at some point came to a halt, "Ugh... it's impossible with all the humans around me." all the humans in the street were kind of paniced.

Kodi looked at her as if her 'purpose' was obvious, "You do know that it's not going to help me find him any faster." he got up and slowly limped towards the street hoping he would make it before she could stop him.

Kirby said, "You are being quiet."

The wolf snuck around looking for Annabeth.

Jenna just nodded. "Are we in any danger?"

Annabeth sighed and said, "This wolf-dog has nothing to do with what I am asking. Can you be a gentleman and respond?"

Dusty looked at Kirby, "I'm waiting to see what will happen."

Balto looked at her, "Not here at least." he had fought wolves before with Aleu after she ran away, but that didn't mean that he wanted to go looking for trouble.

Kodi sighed and looked around at her. "Yes I am single." he found it confusing but then said, "Can I go already?"

Jenna said, "Well I mean they wouldn't hurt you right?"

Kirby just nodded.

The wolf looked at him, "Goodbye." Suddenly the wolf found her, "Come on!" However when he saw Kodi near her he got angry and tried to bite him on the neck. He yelled, "It is aall for you Annabeth!" Suddenly the humans said, "Wolf!" They brought out their guns and shot him. Annabeth immediately looked angry, "Dog I'll get you for this! You won't live past today!" She ran away.

Balto shook his head, before suddenly catching onto the fact that the fact Kodi had been missing the entire day could mean that he was in trouble. He started running through the alleys and calling his son's name.

Dusty saw what has happening, "Oh my god, Kodi!" she quickly ran towards him after the wolves had fled. When she got to his side the startled human with the gun nearly shot her, but he aimed his gun away once he realised that she was not a wolf. Kodi was obviously scared to death from both the gunshots and the threat he received from the female wolf.

Jenna followed Balto and also called his name.

Annabeth eventually met up with the wolf and said, "That dog killed your partner. We will show that dog no mercy now! We will eat his intestines and spit them on the ground, for he is dirt!" Now she was the one with the hatred.

Balto eventually found Kodi. He couldn't see him because of all the humans that gathered around the scene. All he could hear were the humans talking to eachother. One of the humans carefully approached Kodi and gently patted him on his head, before noticing the bite on his paw. "Somebody help me take this dog to a veterenian. Let's hope those wolves didn't have rabies." Balto looked at Jenna, "Can you see anything?"

The other wolf got really angry once he heard about his friend. "We'll torture him and make him watch as we eat his intestines!"

Kirby went over to Dusty. Jenna just shook her head.

Annabeth laughed however she got a sad look. "He said he did everything for me..."

Kodi refused to follow the human. Suddenly his owned from the mail office showed up, "Come here boy." Kodi hesitately got up and followed his owner, who slowly led him towards the small animal clinic they had in Nome.

Her companion suddenly decided to tell her something, "This morning he... told me that he liked you. As in really like you." he sighed.

Kirby then said to Dusty, "Perhaps would be a good time to tell him after he gets better..."

Annabeth sighed and said, "He'll...he'll get his vengeance. That dog...we'll do more than kill him!" She looked at Nome. "Tonight we'll search every house if we have to and when we find him we'll torture him!"
